Balancing heritage Balinese design with clean, contemporary lines and framed vintage art, Villa Adasa is a luxurious and tranquil haven just moments from the beach. Open and breezy, the villa has a vaulted thatched alang-alang roof, Palimanan stone walls and shiny terrazzo and teakwood floors. There's ample space to entertain and socialise, while there are plenty of private terraces around the villa where you can enjoy a quiet moment of solitude, including a beautiful sundeck.

Outside, there's an incredible 14m greenstone-tiled pool with a backdrop of swaying palm trees. There's plenty of space for the whole family to swim here and when you're finished, there are two day-beds to unwind on, complete with colourful batik cushions. Shaded by a thatched roof and pillars, these day beds really are the ultimate in relaxation! Opposite, you'll find sunbeds with parasols for those who want to soak up the Balinese sun and tropical atmosphere.

The villa has three bedrooms that can sleep up to six people. The lucky guests in the master suite can step straight out onto the loggia terrace that spans the width of the property. It's a perfect spot for watching the sunset with a refreshing cocktail while admiring the breathtaking views. Inside, the bedroom has been tastefully decorated in shades of coffee and cream. There's an enormous king size bed, a dressing area and even a desk for those who need to get a little work done or write some postcards.

The other bedrooms open straight out onto the pool terrace, ideal for those who want to take quick refreshing dips. The beds in these rooms are also king size - that can be split into twin beds if required - and are decorated with stunning patterned bedspreads. The bathrooms are filled with fresh foliage and one even has a striking oval bathtub where you can try a Balinese flower petal bath.

In the living room, there are plush cream sofas to relax on as you utilise the modern technology including satellite television, Sonos music and wireless Bose sound system. Fresh and bright white walls are decorated with framed patterned prints in a grid design. Vibrant Tibetan and Turkish rugs ripple across the floor, while wooden furniture anchors the traditional elements of the villa.

The attentive and friendly team of staff at this villa always go above and beyond. The in house chef can whip up a five-course meal or prepare his famous seafood barbecue, while the butler is often preparing amazing cocktails at the poolside bar. The manager is a wealth of knowledge on the surrounding area and will be happy to help with organising excursions or providing advice on the island. Balinese hospitality is legendary!

Villa Adasa is part of the luxurious Laksmana Estate, an exclusive gated community in Seminyak's Golden Triangle. Moments from the beach and chic Seminyak's glittering nightlife, the villa is right at the heart of the action where jet-setters, yogis and fashionistas flock for a great holiday.

There are plenty of incredible spas in the area where you can spend a day getting pampered, including Jari Menari who will send a therapist to you. This way, you can experience an exhilarating Balinese massage from the privacy of the villa. You'll find an abundance of incredible food nearby - you could eat at a different restaurant every night for months and still be spoilt for choice! The villa is close to Jalan Laksmana, also known as the famous Eat Street where you can pick up some tasty treats.

Seminyak is full of fashionable boutiques where you can spend a leisurely afternoon rummaging through antique treasures. Nearby Kerobokan is also a great area for shopping for homeware if you're feeling inspired by the stunning design of the villa. There are also many junk shops here where you can find plenty of trinkets to take home with you.

Seminyak beach is a gorgeous place to be with an irresistible vibe from dawn until dusk. It's popular with surfers across Bali, who gather to catch some waves and then go for a smoothie bowl at one of the superb cafes. If you're feeling fancy, you can rent a cabana here and enjoy some of the delicious food on offer. Another popular activity on Seminyak beach is horse riding, where you can take a gentle canter across the sugary soft sands, weaving in and out of the shimmering water.

You'll find plenty of surf schools where you can get acquainted with the waves and learn from the professionals. From Seminyak beach, take a stroll across the golden sands all the way to Canggu or Petitenget beach. After the sun softens, hang out at one of the many alluring beach clubs for a panoramic sunset view over the Indian ocean - famous Ku De Ta and La Luccola are both nearby.

Anyone interested in art should visit the Nyaman Museum, which is Bali's iconic contemporary art mecca. You'll find stunning pieces from local and international artists here and a range of disciplines from sculpture to photography. This spacious gallery invites guests to channel the spirit of Nyaman, which means cosy in Indonesian. Bali is the ideal place to get into yoga, if you've always wanted to try. There are stunning studios dotted all around Seminyak, so grab a mat and sign up for a taster course.

The villa is also within easy reach of Canggu and Petitenget. Magical Petitenget Beach embodies Balinese spirituality, and is a significant link in the series of temples along Bali's west coast between Pura Uluwatu and Pura Tanah Lot.

Here, discover Pura Petitenget, an ancient temple that has twelve shrines and an impressive dragon staircase that leads to an expansive courtyard. Historically, it was called the Magic Box as a 16th-century priest brought one with him whenever he visited the temple. Every evening, there are temple ceremonies on the beach and traditional dance displays - a truly mesmerising way to experience the rich culture.
