Bakkar Luxuary Lodge

Bakkar is a new high-class villa that has all you need to experience Iceland in the most comfortable and luxurious way. Situated in Grímsnes, close to the “Golden circle” route, and perfectly placed for day-tours to the popular tourist attractions of South Iceland.

The house is on one level of 200 m2, four large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms plus a powder room. The kitchen/dining/living room is an open-plan with astounding views over two waterways coming together at the edge of the property.

Bed 1: King size bed (180x200cm) with en suite bathroom.
Bed 2: Double bed (160x200cm) with en suite bathroom.
Bed 3: King size bed (180x200cm, can also be a twin bed) with en suite bathroom.

Bakkar has free wi-fi for guests and the living room has a 75“ SmartTV and a Sonos speaker system. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer. The villa is heated with underfloor heating and has a ventilation system.

All the house is for guests only.
Outside the villa, facing the larges freshwater river in Iceland, there is a great wooden deck with a roofed terrace, barbecue area, seating, hot tub and an outdoor shower.
In front of the house there’s a comfortable driveway with a charging station for electric cars.
