Minutes to the Fenwick Island and Ocean City beaches and just a stroll to the community's Sun Ridge Recreation & Tennis Center, this single-story open-concept Bayside resort home offers a great base camp for your next beach adventure! In addition to a covered front porch and a screened porch out back, this resort retreat's main level features a living and dining area, a well-equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, and a main suite with a soaking tub and stand-alone shower. In-home amenities include central air-conditioning and a washer/dryer. 4 TVs, 2 DVDs, gas grill, WiFi. The garage is not available for guest use. One bedroom does not have a closet.

Bayside Resort is home to a facility with a heated 75-foot, five-lane indoor pool, hot tub, multi-purpose/aerobics room, locker rooms with saunas, and fitness areas with state-of-the-art strength training and cardio equipment! This waterfront golf resort community offers a quiet escape just minutes to the beach with exceptional accommodations and fantastic amenities. These include a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, two outdoor pools, a kids' splash zone, on-site snack and tropical bars, and a fitness center with outdoor tennis, basketball, and sand volleyball courts. There are also stocked ponds, a community pier, seasonal kayaking, and nature trails with observation towers. The Freeman Stage at Bayside hosts a full slate of summer entertainment, including live dancing, music, and children's programming.

THINGS TO KNOW
Bayside Resort charges an optional per-person fee for guests five and older for the use of the community's amenities, including the pools, tennis court, and fitness center. This fee varies by the time of year. The local Vacasa team will reach out to you before your arrival to arrange for this payment.
Delaware regulations require all guests to sign a lease agreement within ten days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking, and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.
This property is managed by Vacasa Delaware LLC.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We stayed at this location during the weekend after Christmas, so we did not utilize the pool or outdoor recreation areas. The house was very tidy and comfortable. We found that it was the perfect set up for our family visit. Everything that we needed was provided...even things that we didn't think of! We did have to reach out to the property owner and they were quick to respond and very helpful. I highly recommend this location.

Not the same as last time

The location and space for this property was great. Plenty of sleeping room and close to the pool. Unfortunately, compared to our stay here a few years ago, there were many amentities missing and claims of things which did not work. Only one of the TVs worked which was difficult with kids. We went to barbeque one evening and the grill did not work. For the adults, there was only one wine glass the rest of us used coffee mugs for wine. There were no pot holders or kitchen towels which we didn't know until it was time to take things out of the oven, and dirty bathrooms upon check-in. While these things may seem trivial, they matter in the experience, especially when the nightly rate and fees have increased as much as they have. The impression was that there was no care or thought to what is promised and delivered to guests. Sad. We love bayside but will not be back to this house.

Fabulous Beach House!

My family of 6 stayed here comfortably with a friend along as well. We loved the place. It is so beautifully decorated. The full front and back porches were amazing. The family room was ample for us to all hang out together. The kitchen was wonderful as well. I loved the place! I wish I could buy it all furnished just the way it is! There were fun games there for rainy days.

The biggest issue was not having window coverings in the living room. Dirty dishes was in the dishwasher and the trash can under the sink was dirty. We enjoyed the house

Great place in great community

The property was attractive, clean, spacious and convenient. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the kitchen was not sufficiently equipped. There was utensils missing, like a can opener, and horrible pots and pans. Also the bedding, like blankets, was insufficient. If you rent this place bring your own pillows, blankets, and one or two pans that you like to use. If you do that, you will love this place.

Great Stay!

This house was beautiful and very spacious. We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our vacation. The house was clean and the few things we needed addressed were responded to right away. The only recommendation I would make is if you like to cook, bring your own pots and pans. The one provided were very small and thin, difficult to cook a meal well. Overall, great stay!

Beautiful house, perfect for family vacation

Overall the house was a beautiful treat. Quiet street. Wonderfully close to the best kid pools, within walking distance. The linen package was phenomenal! We had towels we didn't even use! The washer and dryer were fantastic. The decor in the house made us feel at home and at the beach. The owners had copied Movies for guests to use, which was a nice treat. They have a game console in one of the rooms, with games- my kids went insane for these. They have board games available. The beds are really comfortable. We also loved the high ceilings. They made the house feel extra big. We loved that it was all on one level. A lot of the Bayside houses are multilevel, with bedrooms on all of the levels or a balcony- loft- that over looked the living room-which looked beautiful, but terrified me with the kids. This was spread out enough that crying babies couldn't be heard from room to room, but also that we were all on the same level for when our kids sleepily needed to find us in the night. Bayside has the best set up at the Point. They have crabbing docks and the lines already set up. You just walk up and ask and you are catching crabs in no time! (Parents, wear life jackets on your littles when doing this activity. The docks are narrow and the water is murky with a good amount of movement) We had a great dinner out at Harpoon Hannah's. It was beautiful. We LOVED the shuttle to the beach. Fenwick State Park beaches were they drop you off (and bypass the $10 parking fee) are clean, have bathrooms, snack bar, shower and rinsing stations, lifeguards, and nighttime activities such as flashlight crab catching and bonfire on the beach. The shuttle allows you to take all of you beach things too. They just store it in the back of the shuttle. Only a 12 minute shuttle ride, fast and comfortable. We would be thrilled to rent this house again. A couple suggestions for renters to know about: **WIFI did not have access. Had to spend time on hold calling in about that. Someone did bring a router out, Had to come back from our walk to let them in. Make sure you have the password ahead of time. **You have to lift the door handle up, to unlock and lock the door. Spent more time on hold and then had a maintenance guy come out to tell us that someone should have told us to lift up. Also,1 of the 2 keys, didn't work. **It also should be noted that Amazon deliveries (which we have always done on all of our vacations for forgotten items) CANNOT be delivered to the homes.
