"My trip in the Torres Strait involved a bit of family catch-up as well as business and it was great to be able to combine both in a remote part of Australia in a house that meet both needs. The house was large and clean with a range of appliances and utensils. The well kept tropical garden was a joy to look at from the balcony that attracted an array of birdlife. "I was greeted in reception by the owner himself who is very knowledgeable and passionate about the island and it's amenities and activities. If needed, he runs a car hire business and also has a cash out ATM machine. The room was very well appointed, and clean. It had TV, wi-fi, and in-room coffee and bikkie service.
