She was warm and friendly through the check-in and check-out process being very accommodating to our request to have 2 vehicles at the property. I was there for work, so I didn't get a chance to use all the amenities but from what I saw, there were BBQs, a pool, and a few areas to sit outside either in the sun or the shade.

"Myself and some girlfriends stayed at Empire Motel and were pleasantly surprised with how clean the rooms and the pool/bbq area were. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach and in a great spot by Skaha. We will definitely stay again!"

"Amazing place to settle in with a young family. Staff were accommodating to our late check in and out needs, neat lawn games, wonderfully relaxing pool. Some features like airconditioning were a little noisy, but certainly kept us cool. We will definitely be back next year!"

"We stayed on a Saturday night in the summer, so we got to enjoy live music while eating a tasty meal and sipping wine in the vineyard. We greatly appreciated the pet friendly venue, air conditioned room, and European-style breakfast in the morning. Also shout-out to the staff that gave us a wine tasting right on arrival since the wine shop was closing right away. A lovely stay all around."

"Room was very clean, new, beds were comfy, ac was blowing icy cold for me, and the bathtub was deeper than any standard hotel I have been to (and that’s lots!). Sure it’s not right on the beach but it was in a quiet area tucked away from the hustle of the main tourist area, but close to amenities. It was priced at about 1/2 the price of hotels in the area, I have zero complaints.
There are some mixed reviews but I think that some people have unrealistic expectations of a budget friendly hotel....

"Owner was so friendly and outgoing made our stay so much nicer. Always greeted us with a smile. Room was comfy and clean. My husband locked himself in bathroom so owner had to rescue him which makes for a good joke on him. Owner had the most friendly black lab we fell in love with him/her. Pool was super clean as well 10/10"
