Located in one of the quietest neighborhoods on the south side of Sedona. Just a 5 min drive to all the amenities, cafes, restaurants and grocery store in the Village of Oak Creek, along with hiking trails like Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock and more. This cozy cottage is a perfect retreat, complete with starlight, solitude, and direct trail access to the Coconino National Forest.

The expansive private back yard invites peaceful enjoyment of nature with a red rock backdrop. At night, enjoy star gazing while grilling up a delicious dinner or cozied up next to the firepit. During the day, follow your inner compass out onto the forestry land and explore to your heart’s content.

Inside the Cottage there is ample space for two. From the queen-sized master ensuite with an additional full bathroom adjacent, to the open plan kitchen and dining room that leads into a cozy living room with expansive glass double doors and floor to ceiling windows on both sides. In the morning, the front deck invites you to sit and catch the earliest rays of sun, and in the evening, enjoy the privacy of the back patio and watch the sunset glow on Lee Mountain just beyond the fence.

Don’t miss the opportunity to curl up on the sofa under the weighted blanket and watch TV or gaze out at the red rocks from our meditation chair or the outdoor covered dining table. Another charming aspect of the Cottage is the skylight over the bed, perfect for stargazing as you fall asleep.

The Cottage is close to the Village of Oak Creek (5 mins drive) and everything Sedona has to offer, or you can stay home and feel like you're in the middle of your own red rock paradise, which makes it a perfect escape.


Please be advised we have one exterior security camera at the front of the property and there is one locked room inside the house that is not included in the rental. It is not mentioned above.

The cottage felt more like a home. It’s located on a quiet road not far from the main drag. There is a stunning mountain view from the backyard with a walking trail. The house had all the basics and more (i.e.: walking poles, umbrella, etc.). Chris is an excellent host- responding quickly to any questions and providing us with numerous restaurant and hiking trail options. We were very happy to stay here and would love to come back.

This house is beautifully decorated, has a beautiful view with direct access to hiking trails, and is quiet and peaceful. The owner is very helpful and communicative and goes above and beyond. The bed is comfy, there are helpful signs and labels throughout the house and a great guidebook provided, and the house is well stocked with plenty of items to get you started. Also there’s no lengthy check out chore list. I would highly recommend staying here!! Also, don’t believe the reviews on Clark’s Market, it’s a great place to get groceries and was clean and well stocked. Book the trip!

I couldn't have picked a better place. We love the outdoors and being away from busy streets. This property was tucked away in a lovely and safe neighborhood and the views from the front and especially back of the house were stunning. If you enjoy wildlife, this is the place for you. We saw a herd of mule deer, pack of coyotes, birds and a javenlina, just outside the fence in the back. The kitchen was well equipped. The house was cozy and warm with plenty of blankets. The living room was very comfortable and warm as well. This was important as we visited in December and we are from Florida. Chris, the host, was the best I have ever had. He freely kept in touch with us and gave us suggestions well ahead of our arrival so we could make the most of our time. His suggestions were spot on. He knows what he is talking about when it comes to dining and trail suggestions. We were so impressed, we plan to come back next year!

This was our fourth time staying at this wonderful cottage. We hope and plan to come back many more times. This is a perfect vacation home for a couple who love a quiet neighborhood with a truly world-class review. The massive cliffs North of the house, and the Rabbit Ears “duolith” are very near and ever-transfixing to the eye. This neighborhood of 10 or so streets is close to, but separated by desert, from the lovely Village of Oak Creek. Driving from the cottage/house to the Village of Oak Creek, we always marvel at the famous rock formations of Courthouse Butte and Bell Rock. Driving a little further and we see such remarkable sites as Castle Rock and Cathedral Rock, and many more. The drive from The Village of Oak Creek to Sedona is almost to astoundingly beautiful to be real. In the house there are two bathrooms, a full kitchen, a large living room, laundry facilities, a large dining area and plenty of closet and drawer space for clothes. The wifi works well. Outside, the view from the backyard is extraordinary. It is a world class view. In the backyard are several areas to hang out on the patios. For the hiker, there is a secret trail into the desert just past the blue-lavender backyard gate. My wife and I have stayed in quite a few VRBO’s over the years, and Chris is the best owner we have ever dealt with. Chris is often texting to make sure everything is okay and offers suggestions for hiking, shopping etc.

This is a truly extraordinary property. The location is mesmerizing. The home is comfortable, well appointed, comfortably furnished and beautifully decorated with pleasing art. The grounds are exquisite. Simply put, it sets the standard for all other vacation rentals to strive for.We will happily return to lovely Sedona and can only hope to stay here again.

This morning we woke up to a herd of javelinas (at least 20!) meandering across the back of the property. We also enjoyed a family of coyotes each morning. This property has been such a consistently great place for us to stay when we come to Sedona. The house is clean, the view is spectacular, the host is very accommodating. We love it so much that it is like a second home. Recently added a fantastic covered dinning area which was wonderful.

Oak Creek at West Sedona

We were looking for a place cooler than Phoenix with a great view and a peaceful neighborhood, and this property exceeded all expectations. The home offers a breathtaking, unobstructed view of Lee Mountain w/Rabbit Ears which was a standout feature. The house itself is a beautifully remodeled older property, well-stocked with more kitchen appliances and utensils than we've encountered in other VRBOs. All living areas were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished.The Master Bedroom was spacious, light, and airy, offering a fantastic retreat. The two full baths were stocked with towels, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, making for a comfortable stay.The host was exceptional—attentive and responsive to our questions, and proactive with welcome information and recommendations for fun places to visit with our Jeep. With a background in hospitality, the host’s attention to detail was evident throughout our stay. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be staying here again.

One of the Most Magical Stays

This home was easily in the top three best places my husband and I have stayed. Everything was clean, tidy, and super cozy. The backyard with access to a quiet trail is a dream. Our host was so kind and helpful - in addition to providing prompt support for all questions, he also provided lots of local recommendations and suggestions for getting the most out of our visit. All around a five star experience - it was awesome. If we ever travel back to Sedona, I am hopeful to stay there again.

Red Rock Views is awesome!!! The perfect base for exploring Oak Creek and Sedona. House is immaculate, and fully furnished. Clark's Market is a great grocery store only 2 minutes away, very easy to get to. Property has a gate, neighborhood is quiet and very nice. Access to trails right out the blue back gate. Lots of great hiking less than a half-hour away. Chris is a wonderful host! Responds immediately, very helpful with anything you need. Knows *everything* about local trails, restaurants, and other sites not on the map. Even gives advice on traffic. Super nice guy! This is the place to stay if you want to enjoy Oak Creek & Sedona, don't look anywhere else. It really is the perfect escape. Can't recommend it highly enough. I wish we were still there. We will definitely return.

Don’t look any further!

This is literally the perfect property. Located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood while still being close to all of the sites you want to see. The house is exceedingly comfortable, and as a curly haired girl, I was ecstatic to find a diffuser was with the hairdryer! We sat outside on the backyard patio every day and took a little hike at the back of the property. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, and Chris provided us with lots of information about the area. I would not hesitate to book again! I would love to have the chance to come back to the area and stay at this beautiful property. Do I have a photo?

Quiet Bliss

Our view was a complete surprise as we got there late. Woke up to stunning view of the Munns (?) range in the backyard! Sooo quiet & peaceful. Close to all of our adventures. The blue gate lead us to a hiking trail of the Coconino Range. The home had everything we needed. Truly looks just like the photos but better. Chris was just a text away when I had questions. Your Best Choice IMHO

This is perhaps the best summation of our experience: Halfway through our stay, we booked for next year. Absolutely no need to look further!Years ago, I said the ideal getaway is a place where "You can see the Milky Way and not hear the highway." This warm, well equipped home off the beaten path fills the bill - and then some. Add in red rock vistas, uncrowded trails nearby, and easy access to Sedona. Plus a great host who is very responsive, but never intrusive.For us, it doesn't get better than this.

Wonderful!!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Red Rock Views in Sedona The house was very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals and to be comfortable. The bed was especially comfy and watching the stars through the skylight was a special treat. The neighbor is very quiet and there is no light pollution at night to interfere with stargazing. Hiking the trails behind the house was really nice and has some beautiful views. We only saw one other couple during one of our hikes back there. They were friendly and said they live in the neighborhood. Chris was very helpful with restaurants suggestions and with giving us directions to less crowded hiking trails that were amazing! We hope we will have an opportunity to visit the area again and if so, we definitely plan to stay at Red Rock Views again!

Truly a perfect spot for a romantic weekend with your significant other! Perfect house in a perfect neighborhood! Very close to the main city and the property itself is amazing, the best part of the whole trip was walking out on the trail in the back yard! Chris is also a great host and makes sure you have everything you need !
