Take a nostalgic steam train out along the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway to savour the magnificent scenery from the comfort of a carriage. Muncaster Castle, 8 miles from the cottage, is also worth visiting while you are close to Ravenglass. Head 8.5 miles into the national park to walk beside beautiful Wast Water. Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England, is just over 11 miles from the cottage.

Enter the immaculate holiday home via the front door and kitchen. This chic space has been thoughtfully finished to a high specification, ensuring you have everything you need to help you prepare home-cooked Cumbrian meals with your own ingredients. There is also a handy breakfast bar in here where you can pause to enjoy your meals or a cup of tea and a quick snack. Wander on through to the spacious lounge to unwind on the comfortable seating together. Find your favourite programme on the Smart TV or make plans for the following day. As the sun sets over Cumbria, head through to one of the two inviting bedrooms to rest your head on your pillow. Here you have a generous king-size and a lovely twin to choose from.
