"The property was wonderful! It had everything that we needed. Even though it is an older house it was very well kept and extremely clean. Very tastily decorated and specious. We loved the garden and the sun room. Downstairs area is great to hang out and the office came very handy for my husband who had to work.Very comfortable beds and great quality comforters.I would highly recommend this rental. "

"Very Comfortable with a well appointed Kitchen. Excellent view of Hood Canal and occasional glimpses of mountains through the fog and clouds. Would recommend visiting the Union Visitor Center for good information about the sites and activities in the area. We enjoyed a few hikes to waterfalls and dinner of Oysters and Dungenese crabs. Preparing meals was easy in the spacious and well appointed kitchen. Perhaps the only drawback was the motorcycles on the road below the cabin and canal. I...

"Our stay at this VRBO was absolutely fantastic! The house was beautifully remodeled and felt incredibly clean and fresh. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, making it easy to cook and feel right at home. We also appreciated the small, private backyard—it was a perfect spot to let the dogs out.The location was another huge plus. It was super convenient and close to everything we wanted to do. "This home was beautiful. The style and decor of the home made it very comfortable, interesting, and pleasant. It was very clean and stocked with all the things we needed for our stay: from toiletries to dishes and spices. Loved the fire pit gathering area- what a nice area to congregate and end the night. "Everything about the listing was accurate. It is cozy, quiet and peaceful. I could walk up the road towards a dead end with my dogs and also down to Hoodsport from the cabin. There is a bit of noise from the highway up above the property, but really only in front of the house. The babbling creek was what was heard from the house and back area over the creek. There is also an open area just steps from the front door to walk dogs, too. The kitchen was very well stocked! The host was responsive...

"We have stayed at several properties on the hood canal and all agree that this is the one we will return to. The home is vibrantly decorated, accentuating the endless views through the doors and windows, well appointed with everything we needed, and spacious enough to accommodate 6 adults and a small dog. "The pictures do not do this place justice it is more beautiful in person. The host was great! Had a really fun time here, I would definitely recommend staying here if you are on the fence about it. It’s not to far from anything you’d wanna see here at the national park as well. "

"We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Like some other guests mentioned, having Wi-Fi or a few board games available would be a nice touch for the quiet moments. "This was an awesome spot for my wedding weekend. With kayaks, paddle boards, hot tub and games there was little time for boredom. We used the solarium for getting ready the morning of the wedding and it set a perfect vibe for my day. We had a small water leak the first day under the sink and Dave was quick to head our way and get it fixed. The floors and walls do slope and the doors slam if you let them close on their own but that added character. "
