Four fabulous holiday apartments with terraces, in a historical captain’s house

The apartments are in the centre of Schaprode, right by the harbour.

The whole house was last completely modernised in spring 2014. The bathrooms and furniture are all brand new and all the apartments have a modern built-in kitchen.

You can enjoy a little front garden with what is no doubt the most beautiful terrace in the locality, with a view of the beautiful natural harbour. You will appreciate the peace and quiet here in the evenings. The generous terraces behind the house with a grill, for the use of all guests, are also pleasant. From here you can look out at the St. Johannes Church, built from the end of the 12th century, which is illuminated in the evenings. There is a car parking space for each apartment on site.

Each apartment has central heating, a flatscreen TV and a freezer.

The house is in a prominent location, next to the Gothic church, with a direct view of the harbour and the island of Öhe. The beautiful town of Schaprode is more than just the gateway to the “söte Länneken”, the island of Hiddensee (a short crossing from the Schaprode harbour by water taxi). Schaprode on the island of Rügen is in many ways unique: it has one of the few sandy beaches in the west of the island, only about 150 metres from your apartment. The beach is ideal for families, as it is flatly shelved into the water. It is also ideal for surfers. It also has one of the few natural harbours on the island. The town with the little island of Öhe in front of it has an incomparable diversity of coastal landscapes and wealth of fauna. The waters around Schaprode are also a paradise for fishing enthusiasts, such as an abundance of large pike. Schaprode has always been a fishing village.

There is also a table and bench combination in front of the house, where you can watch the hustle and bustle of the nearby harbour over a coffee. The garden for communal use rounds off the offer and provides space for relaxing hours in the open air.

The location of the holiday flat couldn't be better: Just 100 metres separate you from the sea, and the nearest beach is also just a few minutes' walk away. Dog owners will be particularly interested to know that the dog beach is only 400 metres away. Amenities such as restaurants, an ice cream shop and the town centre are also just a stone's throw away. Nature lovers will appreciate the proximity to the nature park, which is just 500 metres away.
