"Hotellet har ikke mange stjerner, men er faktisk udemærket. Der bliver ikke gjort rent eller skiftet håndklæder på værelset under opholdet, men hvis man kun bor der 1-2 dage er det jo ligemeget. De varme dele af morgenmaden skal (helst) bestiller aftenen i forvejen på en lille seddel i receptionen. Og så bliver det leveret helt frisklavet! "

"What a wonderful stay.. Graham, Sarah and Claire were such lovely hosts nothing to much trouble very accommodating from checking in to checking out.. Breakfast was excellent each morning cooked to order and evening meals were fantastic especially the fish and chips and homemade tartar sauce was so yummy.. The rooms are clean with lovely bedding and fantastic views of the beautiful island.. Can't wait to go back.. "

"The Stromness Hotel is ideally suited for access to the travel centre, and has great views of the port from the front rooms. While the hotel itself is a little dated, the rooms are sizeable and comfy, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful."

"It was a pleasure to stay with Shona this week. Very friendly and prompt communication. Upon arrival was a friendly welcome and tour of the property which was modernly styled, very spacious, and immaculate. The large kitchen has no shortage of storage, fridge/freezer space, very large oven, hobs, pans, crockery, utensils etc. and spacious dining area for 8, couldn't ask for more!!! Add to that an ideal location which is right next to the ferry port (first house on the left when leaving the ferry...
