Welcome to Lavinia Low House, an antebellum home in the heart of Savannah, Georgia. Built in 1844, this house is an historic retreat filled with treasures from across the globe. Conveniently located in one of the most desired areas in the Landmark Historic District, this house offers three bedrooms, one-and-a-half baths. We can't wait to host you!

The Space:
Entire home: 5 guests; 3 bedrooms; 3 beds

Lavinia Low House (1845) has all the modern conveniences but retains the charm of an antebellum house. Renovated original wood floors. Central heating and air-conditioning throughout.

There are non-functioning fireplaces in every room.

The first floor has an entryway, parlor, dining room, fully-equipped modern kitchen, and powder room. The kitchen has a large refrigerator, blender, mixer, toaster, coffee maker, and other kitchen basics.

On the top floor, the master bedroom has a king-sized bed; another bedroom, a queen-sized bed; and the cozy “trunk room,” a single bed. The large marble bathroom has a full-sized washer and dryer.

Off the first floor is a small porch covered by an adjustable awning with stairs leading to an inviting private courtyard and garden.

The parlor has a flat-screen TV with cable, Apple TV, and stereo sound system. The property has fast WiFi throughout.

Guest Access:
There is rear access to the courtyard that is a shared space with the upstairs neighbors.

There is metered street parking available surrounding the apartment and also a city garage just a short walk (a couple blocks) away. Street parking can be paid through the ParkSavannah app and is free 5pm - 8am and free on Saturdays and Sundays.

Street sweepers do come through at night and you will want to check the street signs to see when to avoid any tickets.

Other Things to Note:
The rental is located in the heart of downtown, yet on a more residential street. There are some city noises such as trash trucks, ship horns, sirens, trains and vehicle traffic that you may not be accustomed to.

Guests should also know that lower level apartment of the house is also a rental. The courtyard is shared with he guests in the garden apartment below. Please note this is an old house, you are are likely to hear the neighbors from time to time. If you are super sensitive to noise this may not be the best rental option for you.
