Kun få skridt væk kan gæsterne finde det unikke og rummelige badeværelse med brusebad og badekar / kombination. Gå mod vest og spis på nogle af byens bedste restauranter som 700 Drayton, Fox & Fig og Hitch. Ret nord mod River Street, kan gæsterne shoppe, indtil de falder inden for forskellige lokale detailhandlere, som The Paris Market & Brocante, 24e, og shopSCAD for at nævne nogle få. Gæster ligger ca. 15-20 minutters gang fra floden, 10-15 til City Market og en hurtig 8 minutters gang til Forsyth Park.

Nice stay with room for improvement

Cute cottage with some room for improvement Cleanliness: Overall clean, but could use more attention on general upkeep (sticky bug catchers were filled with bugs with no room to catch more, dirty filter alerts were on for the A/C, coffee maker and water filter), snack food was left on floor under couch from previous guestsWiFi: The provided guest network connection didn’t work our entire trip. Had to have a lot of back and forth with property management company, including a visit from a staff member to collect the router information (they didn't have this information on file/didn’t know where the router was located). They don’t offer refunds for WiFi not working even though it’s listed as an amenity and the issue appeared to be with the equipment (not Savannah’s infrastructure). Eventually they offered us the password to another network available on the property which worked. Backyard: The patio area is cute, but had pots filled with dirty standing water so there were way too many mosquitos to be able to hang out much. Check-in: We weren’t provided an access code like we were supposed to upon check-in, so we did need to call them when we arrived (luckily during business hours) to get the code.

Started out bumpy…

The overall stay was decent and the place met our needs. The only issue we had was when we arrived. There was a strong smell of natural gas in the residence. After a few minutes, we noticed one of the knobs on the gas stove was turned on. After turning it off, we immediately opened front and back doors and a window as well as the vent fan to air the place out. We ended up leaving for a couple hours with the fan on and a window open. The smell was improved by the time we got back, but had not completely dissipated. The neighbor across the street thought it had been a couple days since someone had stayed there, but wasn’t positive. I contacted the management company and was simply told that the cleaning person must have left the stove on and they were sorry. That was the extent of their response. I’m not exactly sure what else I was expecting, but it seemed somewhat dismissive for what could’ve been a major issue. Savanna otherwise was fabulous!

Wish it could have been better

We’ve been visiting Savannah for the past 13 years and always look forward to our stays. Unfortunately, this particular property fell short of our expectations.On the positive side, the location was excellent—perfect for walking and with convenient access to free on-street parking. The home was also very spacious, and we truly appreciated the owner's flexibility in accommodating our dog.However, we did encounter several issues that affected our experience. Most notably, we had a persistent problem with cockroaches (palmetto bugs). Although property management said they would send someone to address it, no one ever came, leaving us to deal with the issue throughout our stay.Outdoor space is important to us, as we enjoy relaxing outside at the start and end of the day. Unfortunately, this area was so neglected that we didn’t feel comfortable using it. The loft bedroom also presented safety concerns—the dark brown steps, despite lighting, made it difficult to see clearly, and both of us missed the last step at some point.Additionally, the AC did not adequately cool the loft, the ceiling fan was nonfunctional, and we were grateful a box fan was provided. Some of the kitchen items were quite worn and could be easily and inexpensively replaced to enhance the overall experience.We’re sharing this feedback in the spirit of improvement. We love Savannah and want every visitor to enjoy their stay here. Small details truly do make a big difference.

Awesome in Savannah

Everything was as advertised. Great location, we could walk to all attractions and a lot of restaurants. Easy parking. Good communication with host. Cottage is lovely and well maintained. Overall great stay in the historic district and beautiful Savannah.

Loved it!

Definitely be back soon! Quaint little cottage with plenty of room. We walked everywhere and it was an easy twenty minute walk to River Street downtown. Property is as listed.

Anniversary trip

The cottage was adorable and we loved the location. I accidentally dropped the coffee carafe in the sink while cleaning it after breakfast and they had a brand new coffee maker at the cottage early that evening. They were very kind about the accident!!!!! We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again!!

Great Couples Getaway Spot

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend! It was a perfect, quiet little neighborhood. The house is adorable! Close enough to walk if you wanted or a really quick drive to restaurants, shops, nightlife, & history tours! We will definitely be back.

Great rental in a great neighborhood

This rental is in Savannah’s historic district with beautiful scenery and easy access to lots of restaurants, shops, nightlife. Also very close to the riverfront. So much to do and see in a smaller radius, which was great if you like to walk.

Has Potential

The property is in a good location. Safe neighborhood and 5min drive from pretty much anywhere. However, the property was not cleaned very thoroughly. There was dust on all baseboards, in corners & door ways, and it could definitely be deep cleaned. There were ants in the bedroom, and tons of bugs stuck in the bug zappers that are plugged in throughout the house. We came in to a cockroach in the floor while there also. There was hair stuck to the shower wall the very first time we got in, and the jets in the tub did not work. It could have been really nice if a little more effort was put in to it. None of the problems were huge, but the little things matter and for the price, I was definitely hoping for a cleaner environment at least.

Perfect Stay in Savannah!

This property’s location is great if you want a quiet evening away from all of the tour buses and people, but want to be close enough to walk into the heart of downtown. Forsyth Park was nearby and we ate at Java Burrito twice (coffee and breakfast food) and it was an easy walk and so delicious. The loft bedroom is a good size and you have everything needed for your stay. There were only 2 of us, so this is speaking from that perspective. We will definitely use this property again. Check in and out was a breeze as well!

Fly infestation interrupted stay

First the good: The property itself is a charming and cute cottage, with accurate photos. Check in was easy, and the location near Forsyth Park and historic Savannah is an ideal place to stay away from the noise and bustle of the center of downtown. It is an easy walk to downtown and also to a grocery store. Parking was also easy. There was a bug infestation at the time of my stay, so I would advise future bookers to check with the property to see if the issue has been taken care of. When I arrived, I counted 87 dead flies (that I could see) all throughout the cottage, mainly in the front area near the windows and the bathroom, but also on the kitchen counters, in drawers, and in the bed. It was as if a bug bomb had just been set off. I contacted the property company and they immediately had maintenance and housekeeping return to the cottage to address the issue and to re-clean the entire property and replace the linens. When I returned home that night, the place looked clean with only a couple of flies still buzzing around. However by the next morning there were over 25 more dead flies all around and many small baby flies jumping around on the drying towels, floor mat. It seemed like they were living/coming from the bathroom and the tub jets. I notified the front desk again who attempted to have maintenance come out to look at the issue again, but an emergency came up (it was a holiday weekend) and they were not able to come out. I was informed that because of the level of infestation, a stronger treatment would be needed to be performed after I had checked out because it wouldn't be safe to inhabit the cottage with the chemicals. I knew to expect some bugs when visiting Savannah, especially in September during a humid month, but this level of infestation was unsanitary. As a result, I spent most of my time away from the cottage and eventually made other arrangements to sleep elsewhere, as it didn't feel hygenic. I ended up checking out a day early rather than having to deal with all of the flies and the cleanup on my own again. Even with this issue, I was impressed with the Lucky Savannah guest services team (Katrin, Candace, and Jamillah) and their communication and commitment to addressing the issue. My trip was severely disrupted by this experience, and thankfully I was able to get refunded since this issue really negatively impacted my whole vacation. I appreciated that they were so understanding, courteous, and communicative.

I spent just shy of one week at this location. It was within one mile of the downtown area. I found plenty of good food within walking distance, and it has a Kroger grocery store about 1/4 mile away. My stay at this home was enjoyable.

Fantastic! We LOVE Historic District of Savannah!

Love, love, LOVE Savannah and all of the history and vibe of this old city! All of the old houses, stores, restaurants and bars, were awesome! And the FOOD in Savannah is GREAT! One of our FAVORITE cities in America! And this house was in a quiet neighborhood. It was so adorable, tastfully decorated and renovations we’re nice. Loved the loft bedroom, just wish it was a little bigger. I’d hit my head a couple times on the slanted/vaulted ceiling. Otherwise it was a cute, clean place & would gladly stay there again.
