Up to six Lucky travelers will feel at home in this two story apartment, just a stone's throw away from Forsyth Park. The Lynwood Collection on Forsyth is located on Historic Gaston Street and has been renovated top-to-bottom. Chic decor ties the space together and creates an inviting space for guests to relax. Enjoy morning or evening strolls beneath the Spanish moss trees, and start your adventure discovering all Savannah has to offer.

Entering on the second floor, you will be provided a secure key code unique to your stay, that ensures safe entry as you check in to your home away from home. Nestle into your coastal digs by gathering together in the living space fitted with a flat screen TV. Guests are welcome to access their streaming favorites like Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime. A half-bath has been tucked between the kitchen, and living room, ideal for guests who will be using the queen-size sleeper sofa.

The bright and airy kitchen features an ample amount of counter space, including a large island that can seat your entire group. Guests will enjoy having modern conveniences, such as stainless appliances, and a full-size washer/dryer. Enjoy a glass of wine or a morning cup of joe on the balcony that sits off of the kitchen.

Head upstairs to find two bedrooms, that are furnished with a king and queen size bed. The master bedroom floods with natural light, a flat screen TV, en suite bath with standing shower and a spacious walk-in closet. Next door, the second bedroom is home to a queen size bed and a second en suite bath with tub/shower combo!

  • Designed by John S. Norris for General Hugh Weedon Mercer, construction of the house began in 1860. Construction was interrupted by the American Civil War, and finally completed around 1868 by the new owner, John Wilder. Before Hansford's death, as retold in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, the house had already been the scene of two deaths. In 1913, a previous owner tripped over the second floor banister, fractured his hip, and suffered a concussion, dying three days later. In 1964, a boy chasing pigeons on the roof fell over the edge and impaled himself on the iron fence below.

Beautiful stay during Christmas. The host was acommodating when asked for measuring cups/spoons for the kitchen and brought over same day. Bathrooms are small and there weren't any hooks to hang hand towels. Beds were comfortable. This place is conveniently located across the street from Forsyth Park with a nice brunch spot there as well. Kroger is right around the corner and walkable for light loads. I liked the reserved parking spot so I didn't have to find street parking. You also have the option of taking the DOT bus system which is free. Overall good place to be and I would stay here again.

Cute and great location

Clean and comfortable, Little less than one mile walk to the river area. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was the only meal we at in and the kitchen was stocked with what we needed.

Lovely location overlooking oldest Live Oak tree & easy walk to the fountain in Forsyth Park. bathroom d/s is tight quarters but kitchen is nice & bedrooms with bathrooms very accommodating & quiet.

TLDR: terrible management company

Pro: location (though if you’re superstitious, note that the property backs up to the Old Candler Hospital and hanging tree) Cons: listing doesn’t meet description, awful management, not clean Details: window sills had never been cleaned, bathroom trim was broken and caused my baby to trip and scrape a toe, bifold doors were off their track, zero wifi, and no “spacious walk in closet” to speak of. When I pointed out to management that there was no router or modem in the apartment and therefore no network available, they were unwilling to fix the problem. Eventually, they gave us the password to another unit’s network and made zero acknowledgment of the fact that our unit’s WiFi did not exist as advertised, or as included in our welcome package. They even lied saying they’d sent somebody to our unit, but that never happened. The most egregious offensive was the fact that the listing notes a spacious WIC in the primary bedroom. Not only is the primary closet smaller than the second bedroom’s closet, neither are spacious, nor are they walk in. The management company acknowledged that they had complaints about the closets before and that it is “aggressive marketing” but yet, they have taken no steps to update the listing. When trying to work with the management team to address our concerns and the lies in the listing, which they were fully aware of, they offered no refund or any explanation. Don’t book here. Lucky Savannah has been trained to take no accountability.

Nice place. I enjoyed it.

I liked the place and location. A few safety issues. 1. The bathtub is slick. Not Ice Rink slick but enough for me to mention it. 2. I wish the front door was more secure. Perhaps a second indoor lockable lock. Also the door jam was a bit lose (hence the extra lock) 3. I hated the parking spaces matched the apartment number. When we drive off everyone knows 3A is now unattended. Perhaps a numbered parking space would fix that concern. Location and place was as advertised. TV channel was different but I’m old so it’s probably me. I’d stay again if I was in the area.

Perfect location for a long weekend in Savannah!

We loved this stay- great unit, very clean, perfect location. Getting in and out of the en suite bathrooms upstairs was a little tight for plus-size guests, but other than that the unit was absolutely perfect!

Great Downtown Location but

The location of this property is great for those wanting to walk around downtown Savannah. However, the property itself had a few challenges. Be aware, the steps outside are steep. It is a full flight plus to get to the front door. Another flight inside to get to the bedrooms. The WiFi connection is horrendous. The management team made several attempts , and the solutions often worked. But if you want to use WiFi all the time - it likely will not work. The TVs rely on WiFi. This is an old townhouse- well converted to an apartment. But be aware the bathrooms are tiny. The decor is pleasant but the rug corners roll up so don't trip. Outlets in the bedrooms are not close to the bedside tables. The kitchen is modern and the appliances are good.

Great location

Great location. Nice updates but pics are deceiving. We found all bathrooms to be extremely small. Kitchen needs more essential tools like a can opener, spatulas and scissors.

Place was clean and very nice. Being on the corner of Forsyth park was really nice. Just know that only one parking space but was able to find close street parking. The only negative was the internet service. could not use the tvs upstairs for no service was available i contacted the office but was never fixed.

Pretty Good Find

This place was in a good location and reasonably priced. Check in was easy, we only had a few minor problems like the wifi info didn’t work so we had to contact the host who gave us a different one to use, and the toilet paper was maybe the worst I’ve ever used, so maybe buy your own when staying here. Also a weird amount of light switches that didn’t seem to do anything, so that was confusing at first. Otherwise the place was clean and comfortable. Overall, a good experience.

Very clean property. Fresh linens. Very comfortable beds. Nice bonus of washer and dryer, pots/pans/dishes. Could have used an entryway rug to wipe our feet off and maybe some extra garbage bags. Very quiet area close to Forsythe Park. Would definitely stay there again!

Absolutely Wonderful

The apartment was a great place to stay; clean, cute and a great location with Forsyth Park right across the street. Sheets were clean and crisp, plenty of towels and all the amenities we needed. Would definitely recommend.
