Sandpiper Cottage offers relaxed coastal comfort for your family and friends.

This bright and breezy 3-bedroom, 2+ bath summer escape is located only 14 minutes from Narragansett Pier and its beaches and only 8 miles from gorgeous Newport. You’ll enjoy easy access to the shore without the crowds. The cottage comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests in three bedrooms and a finished lower level offers a pull out queen size couch. Air conditioning and beach breezes will keep you cool when things get hot.

A flower filled backyard with patio, stone fire pit, al fresco dining table, an outdoor shower like no other and fenced in yard provides lots of space to relax with a book or a glass of wine. Sandpiper is perfectly situated between the energy of Newport and the serenity of Rhode Island’s quieter beach towns – close enough to explore, far enough to unwind.

Three spacious bedrooms, ideal for families or groups - a lower level TV room perfect for kids to get away while parents relax upstairs or outside

Two full bathrooms plus an additional private outdoor shower – perfect after a day in the sand

We had a wonderful time at this house. The hosts were so welcoming - local drinks waiting on arrival and everything we needed for our stay (including beach chairs, towels, toys, etc). The house was so clean and we loved the backyard. It's on a busier road but you don't even notice when sitting out back enjoying the fire pit. We ate every meal on the patio. Thanks for such a wonderful time!

Awesome time in RI!

I booked Sandpiper Cottage without knowing much about the area but wanting to explore someplace new. We were not disappointed! The cottage was just as pictured EXCEPT the basement was a total pleasant surprise! We weee traveling with our 3 kids and had thought 2 would share a room, but the finished basement with pull out couch was perfect for our oldest. The yard and Sandpiper was exquisite and we lived the outdoor shower. Driving to the beach was an easy shot down the road and parking in Narragansett wasn’t nearly as challenging as some of the online sources make it out to be. We had a great 4 nights and could have stayed longer

Beautiful Stay in RI!

The pics do not do this place justice- everything was sparkling clean and the hosts provided everything you could think of- beach towels, beach chairs. The yard and patio are so charming and we enjoyed watching fireflies while using the firepit, and the outdoor shower was so fun. Just a quick drive to the beach and the hosts provided a binder with recommendations to restaurants, etc. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a fabulous rental property in Narragansett! It was easy to check in, communicate with the hosts (who seem to be wonderful people), the house was CLEAN, and had everything we could have possibly needed as a family of 4 with 2 children under 10! As far as safety I liked that each room had a smoke detector, there was a fire extinguisher in the kitchen, all the bedrooms and the street facing rooms had blinds/shades for privacy, the side yard and backyard had a fence or dense shrubs to keep the kids contained, and there was a nice bright night light in the bathroom for anyone who needs to use the bathroom during the night (which my kiddos did). Cornhole was provided as well as children’s books and coloring activities which kept the kids busy. There were plenty of kitchen utensils, towels, and extra sheets (we didn’t use extras but they were there). The house truly felt like coming home after a busy day of adventuring. The outdoor area was nice to relax outside at night after kids went to bed. Definitely would stay here again!

Great home!

My husband, our kids and grands came to RI for a week. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The hosts were great and good communication. Would definitely recommend staying here!!

Exceptional Stay

My wife wanted to travel back to her homestate and be near the beach. This was the perfect location. The home is beautiful and met all of our needs. The kids loved the basement and made it into their own little kid cave. The outdoor shower was the best we've ever had and easy for showering the kids off. We would have stayed longer if we could. I practically had to pry my wife out of there because she didn't want to leave. We will definitely stay again!

Family Summer Vacation

This house is a great stay for a family. Close to shops and beaches. The fenced yard gives extra security for a family with children. We had the best time making S’mores around the fire pit. The outside shower was a huge hit. The outside shower fixture was incredible. We all enjoyed being able to come from the beach and clean up. Plenty of towels for the house, beach and spotless sheets! We had a wonderful time exploring all of the beaches and fishing spots. The hosts are quick to respond to messages and requests. Many thanks to our hosts for a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is so comfortable, and my family had a great time! We cooked several times, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The outside space is also wonderful. The outdoor shower is beautiful, and it’s convenient and fun to cleanup after the beach. I enjoy sitting outside, and the patio here was perfect. And the fenced-in yard was so very nice for the kids. We look forward to staying again!

Perfect vacation rental!

My spouse and I truly enjoyed our stay at The Sandpiper Cottage! As soon as we drove into the driveway, we felt welcomed. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. We loved the beach decor! The fenced in backyard has . ample space to play and grill when our adult children and grandson visited for the day. There is plenty of seating and beautiful gardens surrounding the patio area. The location is ideal — close enough to various beaches and restaurants. Not far from a fabulous spot for ice cream! We didn’t need to connect with the owners for any issues during our stay. We did communicate by email before our stay and they were extremely responsive. We’d love to stay again next year!!!

Sandpiper Cottage Oasis

This 3 bedroom, one bath treasure is 8 miles from Scarborough State beach, and 9 miles from Newport. The back yard is fenced in surrounded by trees, with a beautiful outdoor shower, fire pit, picnic table, plenty of seating and a grill. A beach cart, chairs, and towels to use at the beach were provided. The cottage was clean, the beds were great, and the kitchen was well appointed. The perfect place to stay to be close enough to Newport to avoid the traffic, yet near a beautiful public beach. The hosts were great, provided clear information, and easy to contact.
