"This hotel is good value for money. I like going there when I need a few quiet days. It’s also close to the airport. It’s clean and unpretentious and the staff is pleasant and helpful. I didn’t like the chipped floor in the bathroom and I didn’t like the fact that the only tissue in the bathroom was almost finished. Tip: always have an extra role on standby."

The hotel is situated close to Muscat International Airport with less that a 10 min ride. Despite the close proximity to the airport we didn’t notice any noise whatsoever.
There are 3 restaurants offering a fine selection of food, but don’t expect highend gourmet.
The breakfast buffet was nice with a good vanried selection of food and beverages.
The rooms are great. Everything works, it is giving a modern impression. Fine WI-FI and great...

"The people at Haffa Hotel are a treat. Arrived early morning and they could not find our reservation. Having seen the printed copy they readily accepted and suggested that we wait for the morning to investigate - in the mean time giving us rooms without any comments. For that purpose the hotel is very well situated, because access to roads leading to these other cities are close by. As other reviews states there is not much other going on in the area of the hotel (industrial area), but that only means it is nice and quiet during evening.
We did choose the buisness club suite and the room was luxury for us....

The stay at Sheraton Oman was superb. We started by spending 4 days in Muscat before moving on to Wahiba Sands, Wadi Al Shab, and Nizwa. The first 4 nights were so great that we ended up coming back after traveling around Oman. In total, we stayed at the hotel for 9 nights, which is quite a lot, but we were very happy with it. The location is excellent. We had a car, so it was easy to drive to the places we most often visited - we went frequently to Al Qurm, which is about a 10-minute drive...

"Vi har netop haft et vidunderligt ophold på Mandarin Oriental Muscat i hele 6 dage, og det overgik virkelig alle vores forventninger. Servicen var helt i top, og personalet var utrolig servicemindede og imødekommende - vi følte os virkelig velkomne hele vejen igennem vores ophold.
Vi nød den lækre morgenmad i TwoThree58 Club, hvor der var et imponerende udvalg af retter. Om aftenen havde vi også fornøjelsen af at smage deres cocktails og canapéer, som var en skøn måde at afslutte dagen på.
Hotellets pool og strandområde var absolut fantastiske. Selvom stranden var offentlig, blev vi stadig serviceret af hotellets venlige personale, hvilket gjorde vores oplevelse endnu bedre.
Alt i alt var vores ophold en uforglemmelig oplevelse, og vi ser allerede frem til at besøge Mandarin Oriental Muscat igen."

Eneste minus var det byggearbejde, der fandt sted lige nedenfor vores balkon. Lokationen er også i top - hurtig adgang til stranden, tæt på operaen, og ellers blot en kort taxatur til andre seværdigheder. "
