Overall, it was just OK. The room badly needed a good scrubbing. Toilet and shower were not particularly clean. We really needed a place to put our clothes. We basically lived out of our suitcases for a week. It would have been nice to have a few hooks in the bathroom on the back of the door maybe in addition to the ones over the toilet, which were too low for towels. It would’ve been handy to have soap, dishes, and a shelf in the shower. The light in the bathroom was a bare bulb hanging from a wire out of the ceiling. There was an armoire, but only three hangers in it. “Breakfast” was a few slices of bread and some jelly and a few Slices of fruit on two out of the seven days we were there.
There is one refrigerator outside near the pool for all the guests to share.
There was no access to cold water to drink, tapwater was always warm and there was no ice available.
The worst thing was neighbors on both side had dogs in the fenced yard that barked and bellowed all day and all night at anything that moved. Even with the windows closed and the air-conditioning on it was enough to keep you very much awake.
It really wouldn’t take very much for this to get another star or two, just some basic improvements. For the money, it was OK.
