First time to anna maria!

To have our first visit to anna maria, this place was perfect! Our two daughters, and our pup had a great time. A very short walk to the beach access, the pool, and all the amenities you need to enjoy a day on the beach! Place was perfect!

We loved having a pool with the house as well as all the beach equipment. The house was located close to the beach as well as the center of town. The management company was quick to respond to our emails and the owner was kind enough to replace a broken wagon left from the previous renter. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay in this home immensely! We are always grateful that people offer up such wonderful places for us to stay while on vacation! This home has everything we needed for our family vacation. We are fortunate to have found this place. The home was clean, spacious, quiet… a wonderful pool.. a wonderful open area to congregate, and space to retreat to to be alone and quiet. The location of the home is spectacular! We stay on the coveted north end of the island every time.. four homes in this exact neighborhood. It is just one block to the best beaches in the island.. the sand is soft.. sparsely populated with people.. a short walk to the tip of the island. We would see dolphins passing by… manta rays or sting rays.. endless schools of fish.. and the most spectacular sunsets imaginable.There are wonderful restaurants nearby for any kind of dining you would want and wish for.. casual.. elegant and everything between. I should have started with this: Anna Maria Life Vacation Rentals are consummate professionals.. they offer fabulous properties. They are highly communicative.. available for communication any time.. the great ting is.. you won’t ever need their great customer service as they prepare their properties and communicate so well, there is rarely a need to contact them at all! We love this home and will be staying here often.

House was beautiful and had all the needs for a family. Beach is only a short walk away, and owners of home have everything needed for a beach day. Grill works great, pool was great if you want to lounge at home for the day. Will definitely be back. Great Location!

Perfect beach vaca

This beautiful vacation home checked all the boxes for us! The pool area was perfect and even provided a shaded area under the deck which was essential for our mid-July vacation. The house is a minute walk to the gorgeous white sand beach and beautiful crystal clear Gulf of Mexico. The house itself was perfect for our family of 5. It was clean, and provided everything we needed to enjoy this vacation. It was very cute and beachy inside. We will definitely be coming back!

Nice home but not close enough to beach

The house is nice. The pool is unique. The description said 200 steps from the beach it is 491 steps. My wife had hip surgery 3 weeks prior so being close to beach was important.

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful time. The property is nice and well kept. The property is stocked with plenty of dishes/pans/drinking glasses. The pool is amazing with plenty of sun or shade whatever you want. There are a lot of stairs. The “garage” was very nice with pool floats and air hockey table

Wonderful

The house was great, my advice would be if you know guests are coming turn on the fridge, we had a full order of grocery with a warm fridge. Also the bit of mold on the ceiling near the kitchen was gross and the alarm for the pool was annoying being we had no littles. Pool was fantastic and the house was clean

Perfect location

This house is in great shape and is so close to the beach. The pool was clean but it gets a lot of shade being tucked under the deck, so in a cooler month it was chilly most of our trip. I’m sure in the summer it would be perfect. We had a small issue with the freezer leaking and the management company was out to fix it right away. We’ve stayed in several homes on AMI and this was one of our best experiences yet.

AMI Home with close beach access.

Spacious, close beach access, nice view! It appears the entire home has been updated inside and out except for the bath tubs and entryway flooring. I probably would recommend some cheap modern tv's and furniture l/ game room items vs what's in there. And a larger water heater to support that size home.

Great house - Great location

Very clean. Comfy beds. Plenty of linens (thank you!). You could use more utensils (forks). Otherwise, it is a well-stocked house and perfect for our family (ages 21(2), 24(2), and 52(2). The large dining table was great for board games and meals. The pool was fantastic - plenty of shade & sun! Only one jet worked in the whirlpool section. The couch is different than pictured (currently white linen) - so comfortable! We all agreed we would stay here again!

Nice Location

Nice Location, short walk to the beach. Bedroom #3 is more like a closet with a hard bed that squeaks with every move you make. The TV in that room is more like computer screen size. The room is so small you'll need to keep your luggage in the hall. If you need that room for adults to use, they will be very disappointed. Bed #4 the single twin is just in the upstairs hallway. Bed #1 and #2 were fine. The pool was dirty when we got there we assumed it would be serviced at the beginning of the week turns out it doesn't get cleaned until Thursday. When we called to complain they did take care of it and kept in touch with us until we were satisfied.

poor kitchen ware to cook and enjoy your stay

location great , house nice but not in good condition , it has the comodity but not everything is working fine . shower outside patio was full of grass and cant be used . but i was impressed with the kitchen , first everything look sticky and dirty , very bad condition in every single pan and and ware . its a petty that such a beatiful place dont put a little bit love and care , to have it great . and the rent and fees are not very cheap , so it should go according with the price . island is the best beatiful place a I ll been with my family and we will be back to Anna Maria island for sure .

Pool home

We picked this home because it had many things for kids to do,was assured by asking many times if the pool was going to be working by email we were told the pool was going to be working for our stay nov23-dec5 pool was not in working order,very cloudy asked if it was safe to swim in was told yes pump was not working had someone out to fix that daily heater was not working had been replaced 5 days into our stay,4 of the people got chemical burns from the water,I would of rather them tell me I’m not sure if the pool would be ready for you were working on it than to tell us yes it’s ready,but the inside of the house was beautiful had everything you need to cook if your going to,but the pool put a damper on everything as to 3 of my grandkids were so looking for to swimming for months when we booked,one of the service people told us this pool was still not working and was not properly working when we left.

Nice house, but with some issues.

The house is nicely decorated and comfortably furnished. Neighborhood is great. The outfitting of the kitchen is bad; many things missing. or in bad shape. If you cook, you will be doing a lot of improvising. After initially responding to some maintenance needs quickly, the management company did not follow through. A replacement fridge water filter was left on the doorstep along with two fridge door shelves to replace broken and missing ones that were the wrong size for the fridge. No one contacted us to install them. The management company never even answered my subsequent email about that and that the freezer not working nor making ice. The place definitely needs a new refrigerator. If it matters to you, the pool and the deck only get sun in the morning; they are completely in the shadow of the house during the afternoon.

Nice Stay

We travel every year to the island and once again enjoyed our visit. However, I have rated this property 3 / 5 as it was clean and tidy; and its location was just perfect for us. However, not all the photos as advertised are correct. They had placed a single bed into an open desk area which we needed to use as an office; and was told by the agent we could move the furniture accordingly to fit. Un-impressive and am sure if anything got damaged, there would be problems. Also beware - this is not a four bedroom house; and in the UK this would be classed as false advertising. So be careful when you book this place. Also note - the pool has jacuzzi pumps which are not available to guests. Although this is not advertised, it is disappointing to see the facility and not be able to use it. We were also unable to park our car in one of the garages. They are also locked for guests. If these items were fixed, and that the property is properly advertised as-is, then I would not have a problem with it. All

Water leak issues

There are two bathrooms here and the one on the main floor is directly below the upstairs bathroom. When we arrived, there was clearly water damage above the main floor toilet. The “patch” was just some clear packaging tape. The area was black and appeared to be mold (I wish I could attach a picture - it was disgusting and growing daily). After the first day, it started to drip so we called the rental company and they said someone would be out. It wasn’t until the next afternoon that someone came but they left without fixing anything. Then we called back and the next day a plumber came out. His conclusion was that we can’t use the upstairs toilet…so 5 adults were expected to use one toilet. And on top of that, you could get dripped on at any moment using the one downstairs. We asked the plumber if he could at least put something else up to patch the leak so we didn’t have toilet water dripping on us and he said no. I literally used the toilet with a towel on my head for 4 days because I was afraid of the water dripping on me. Also, the photo of the main floor bathroom on this listing is not accurate.

Spacious Home with Great Beach Access

We stayed in AMI Retreat for two weeks over the holidays. We were a family of 4-- two parents and two teens, plus our 7lb maltipoo. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out, and the kids loved taking over the upstairs level. The beach access is incredibly convenient, particularly if you want to sneak over for a quick visit to watch the sunset before/after dinner. We also liked the layout of the pool area, especially the shallow "shelf" where you can sit in a chair with your feet in the water. We also appreciate the owners offering a dog-friendly rental. Just a few minor suggestions to other guests: (1) while the kitchen is well-equipped, there were no large frying pans in the house. If you plan to cook breakfast for a larger group, you might want to bring one with you; (2) the house was a little dark in the evenings. If you like to read in bed, you might want to bring your own reading lamp, as there was only one lamp in the two king bedrooms, and none in the smaller orange bedroom; (3) the TV in the main level is an older model flatscreen (i.e., no built-in internet connection) with only has 1 accessible HDMI port. Thankfully, we brought our own Roku, but we had to unplug the cord from the cable box and connect to the Roku anytime we wanted to watch a movie. Finally, I would just note that the photos on the Anna Maria Life website are a little outdated. The orange bedroom has a queen bed (no bunk beds) and the back deck has been renovated to replace the pergola with an umbrella table. Overall a great house though, and a terrific value compared to other more expensive options on the island. We would definitely come back!

We arrived the week after hurricane Ian on Sat Oct 8th. There were a few hiccups upon our arrival but AMI Life and the homeowners could not have been more responsive and helpful in making our stay anything less than amazing. I cannot stress this enough. AMI Retreat is a great home for families to vacation at. The home is located on what I would say is the quietest part of AMI. The kitchen has pretty much most of what you would need for day-to-day cooking. The heated pool is a great place to gather and relax in day or night. The beds are all super comfortable. The insanely amazing AMI beach is an easy walk right across the street. The owners have provided many beach accessories you can bring with you to the beach. If you are hungry, there are many options a short walk away. I would recommend the Rod-N-Reel for a nice quick sunset dinner. Thank you AMI Life and a huge thank you to the homeowners for providing an amazing experience for my family.

Absolutely Amazing Spot on AMI

My family and I went down to visit AMI recently and this house was perfect! We have been down to the island a few times before and this home, by far, had the best location to the beach. The house came equipped with everything that you would need for a day in the surf and sand. The pool area was amazing as well. The inside of the house was super clean and had everything that we wanted. The internet was a little slow, but we weren’t on it too much anyway! Thank you so much for an amazing week and unforgettable memories made!

Also, the AMLVR team is fantastic, especially Cheryl who is so helpful and patient, and Michaela who I had to bother about a tiny issue and she was on it immediately. Tommy arrived to check the pool for us that very day, and he also was extremely competent and friendly. We also had to have some medications sent to us via USPS, and Michaela was wonderful about helping us figure out how to make that happen and then calling us the minute they arrived so we could stop in and pick them up. The team at AMLVR goes above and beyond, and are so kind about it.
