"Casa Anabela is in the historic centre of Quito and is walking distance to the Plaza de la Independencia and most of the major attractions in the area. Breakfast has cold and hot options. They make you eggs and coffee to your liking. The bathtub was very relaxing after a long day of travelling and sightseeing. Maria at reception was very helpful with dining options and arranging transport for us. Thank you Casa Anabela for a nice stay in Quito. "

"Excellent stay. Awesome service and unbeatable location in the very center of old Quito. The hotel is kept in historic style. Rooms are well maintained, spacious and confortable. We felt totally safe, also at night time, as there is a lot of police in the area. "

"Mario and Blanca run a fantastic operation at Casa El Eden. We are just off a four-night stay with them and couldn’t be happier with our visit.
Mario could not have been kinder and more helpful. Want something specific? He can help. Laundry needed? Same day. Need a recommendation or info? Done - and/or he calls a friend. He really went out of his way to ensure that our every question was answered, and every need met. He helped arrange airport transportation both ways and even helped deliver...

The building itself is beautiful—full of charm, stunning architecture, and lovely decor—right in the heart of the historic district. Our room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and felt safe and secure.

"This is an inexpensive hostel, great value for the price, that is in the middle of the Old Town section of Quito. Short walk from everything you want to see. Safe. Tons of dining options. Very good breakfast each day. Super friendly, helpful staff! Yale took care of us. Highly recommended. "

"This hotel is incredible. So beautiful and such a high service level.
You can book the jacuzzi and steam bath for free, the breakfast is delicious, staff is super polite - if I ever go to Quito again this will for sure be the place I’ll stay. "

"Casa San Marcos hotel was amazing! Such beatiful building ( was build in 1702) with all its antiques, arts all over and modern amenities for very special and unique stay.
We felt we were staying in a castle two centuries ago though with all the modern day comfort and luxury."
"The hotel was so cute, well decorated (I love the 'it's a museum' vibe). I love that the artwork inside went with the room name/theme. I had a room with two beds, though I only needed one and it had SO much space. It was a last minute reservation I just needed for one night, but I'm looking forward to returning and staying for multiple nights!"

"Loved the hostel. Has the historic rustic vibe. Have daily events and walking tour on board schedule. In or around the old historic town. Not walking distance from your typical Holiday Inn and restaurants but closer to the typical Ecuadorian life style and food. Its like a maze inside the hostel with creaking wood floor."
