Old Natchez Compound is a rare six-bedroom retreat in the heart of Seaside, Florida, combining the elegance of the Old Natchez Main House (4BD, sleeps 10) with the charm of the neighboring guest cottage, Oak Creek Annie’s & High Rustler (2BD, sleeps 8). Together, these homes create the perfect compound for multiple families or larger groups of up to 18 guests.

Set on picture-perfect Natchez Street—just 377 feet from the beach and directly across from the Westside Pool—this corner-lot property enjoys one of Seaside’s most desirable locations. Expansive porches run the length of both homes, offering multiple seating areas that overlook a landscaped, fenced yard and the peaceful, tree-lined street. Outdoor living is a highlight here, with a large lighted deck featuring dining for up to 17 guests, two charcoal grills, and a charming courtyard strung with twinkle lights—perfect for cookouts and evenings under the stars.

Inside the Main House, guests will find a gourmet kitchen with marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, and custom cabinetry, opening into a spacious living area with a leather sectional and large flat-screen TV. The dining room, with seating for eight, flows easily to the courtyard for seamless entertaining. The first-floor primary suite features a plush king bed, an ensuite bath, and direct porch access. Upstairs are three additional bedrooms: a king with twin and trundle (sleeps 4) and a private balcony, a queen suite with an ensuite bath and balcony seating, and a cozy built-in bunk room for kids. Each bedroom includes a flat-screen TV and thoughtful furnishings, blending comfort with coastal charm.

The guest cottage, Oak Creek Annie’s, extends the compound with added privacy. The first floor features a queen suite with an ensuite bath and porch access, while upstairs offers a full kitchen, cozy living room with a queen sleeper sofa, full bath, and a loft bedroom nook with a full bed (accessible by ship’s ladder, ages 16+). A private balcony with seating for two overlooks the courtyard, creating another space to unwind.

Adjacent to the cottage, High Rustler’s Suite offers one of the most unique features of the property—a private queen bedroom with an ensuite bath and a Juliet balcony that frames stunning Gulf views. This romantic hideaway is a guest favorite, perfect for sunsets or morning coffee above the rooftops of Seaside.

Together, these three residences create a setting that balances connection and privacy, ideal for family reunions, milestone celebrations, or beach vacations with friends. Great location!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay very much, and the location was perfect to town and only one block to the Beach. It was a little tight for 14 people being that we were all adults but overall it was a beautiful home and had everything we needed.

Beware - this house needs some maintenance

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Booking and communication were easy, as always. The Property was not.Upon arrival we found the porch wrapped in yell "CAUTION" tape because parts of the porch were so rotten the property manager (Molly) was afraid that they might collapse. Molly (who was terrific) met us at the property to walk through various issues with the house, such as outdoor lights not working (very dark going down steps at night) rusted through grills, locks that did not work and substantial deferred maintenance (chipped paint, holes in floor covered by rugs, rotten wood, missing door knobs, doors that stick, rusted shower curtains, rusted door hinges, rusted light switches...)We were very surprised that this home met the Homeowners Collection standards.The house is in a great location with easy access to the beach and pool. It looks good from the outside, but needs some substantial investment in maintenance, including replacing the front porch (numerous people in our group got splinters) fixing the rotten deck) fixing the rotted wooden deck and repairing the lights outside - this house has significant outdoor steps that get very dark at night.
