The requirement of a water taxi to get to the hotel while daunting at first, is not an issue at all as they are cheap and plentiful. Our room had a great ocean view. "I stayed at this B&B with my partner during a dive trip to Santa Cruz. Would highly recommend. We had a beautiful and comfortable room, always clean and a great location in town. We left every morning by 6:30am so can’t comment on the breakfast, but the water jug was always full and cold! We would stay here again. "

Once we were there she offered to arrange tours, suggest dining places and made reservations for us. She did everything she could to make our stay easy and enjoyable. "It can be a little intimidating coming to a new country so it was a relief that our hosts were bilingual and extremely knowledgeable and patient with all of our questions. We were in the Galápagos for 10 days and had done no pre planning. No worries there because Donna got right to work setting up wonderful excursions to remote islands and even had snorkeling gear to lone to us. We walked everywhere but could have gotten one of the plentiful taxis for only $1.50 per ride. The food in Santa Cruz...

"We stayed 3 nights in the "casa grande" associated with the Galapagos Pearl Hotel and could not have been more pleased. The casa has 2 bedrooms, a small kitchen, one bathroom, and is conveniently located right next to the pool and the outdoor dining area where Yolanda serves breakfast. Your room is cleaned every day. The garden surrounding the pool and casa is lush and full of geckos, cats, and beautiful plantings. Yolanda is from the Galapagos, she is a wonderful host and her daughter helped us...
