"The property is across the river on the opposite side of the temple. Clean and comfortable premises and, courteous and responsive host. The way to the property is well-marked but can be slightly difficult to navigate in the night. There were some issues with wifi on the day of our visit but that may have been resolved. "The property was in a hilly area called Horanadu and consisted of a series of cottages along the banks of a beautiful creek with plenty of flowing water. The main room of the cottage was clean and very functional. The back porch overlooking the creek had two reclining chairs and was an ideal reading location.

Backed by customer friendly service, simple home cooked food and accompanied by great natural vistas. But be aware - the access isn't as friendly. The internet is patchy and there's no TV. On the other hand, this could be the perfect detox for our digital weary minds."

"The Serai is in a coffee plantation; it is an oasis of calm in the centre of civilisation. We woke up to the chirping of birds and slept under a canopy of stars, both of which are impossible in the city."
