‘CJ’s Country Cabin’ is a 1-bedroom, 1-bath vacation rental tucked away in a quaint area of Sand Gap, in the Arkansas Ozark Mountains National Forest. The peaceful area offers guests a place to relax while admiring valley views or spotting wildlife as they enjoy their morning coffee on the porch. Two of the in the towels next to the shower were dirty with Cheeto finger stains but outside of that, the cabin and grounds were tidy and well maintained.There were high winds during our stay which resulted in a somewhat constant farting noise coming from the cabin when the wind would blow under the metal roof. It was unexpected and funny

We loved our stay, it was just as advertised and felt private and cozy. Everything worked as it should and the place was quite cutely furnished and came with everything we needed. We only wished we’d had more time.

Everything was as advertised. We enjoyed the stay. The closest store was closed on Thanksgiving but that was expected. The only minus was the bed. The sheets were a bit stained and the bed not extremely comfortable but still fine.

We had a wonderful stay at CJ's Country Cabin. The views are astounding, and the cabin was very clean, homey, and comfortable! The host was very nice and communication was wonderful. I know that if we had had any issues( our stay was perfect) they would've been addressed promptly. Its a picture perfect cabin with all the amenities you could ask for!

We stayed here to do hiking a sight seeing with our daughter as part of spring break. Location was awesome for the trails and waterfalls we wanted to see. Cabin was so cozy and peaceful. We loved it!

The pictures of the view do not do it justice. The cabin is very well stocked, the host is very responsive and informative, and the location is great for all sorts of outdoor activities.

Very clean and well stocked. I would bring prepared meals as there is limited space for prep and cooking. There is a small charcoal grill we enjoyed using. This is a great location for various hikes around the area. And, the deer graze right through the property. I would plan on getting there in the daytime as it is difficult to locate in the dark. We were pleased with the WiFi connection.- Much better than we thought it would be. Overall I would highly recommend!! We’ll be going back for sure.

One of the best views of any cabin I’ve stayed at in AR! The cabin is small but adequate for a couple with 2-3 kids. It was well stocked with the things you might need. The deer came to the back yard every morning and afternoon. Perfect location for a motorcycle ride.

This cabin made the perfect weekend getaway. We ate outside every meal and sat by the awesome fire pit every evening while birds sang all around us and deer came right up to us. The only reason we contacted the owner was to get more birdseed! CJ was super nice. They’ve done an incredible job with this cabin. They put a lot of thought into the remodels and additions. We loved the porch swing and the hot tub. We made a trip to Dover to eat a homegrown brunch at Drewry Farms, explored the caves at Pedestal Rocks, stopped for ice cream at the Hankins store at Sand Gap and Whouda-Thought-It just up the road. Most of all we RELAXED! I think we’ll just go on and move in. ;) Next time we’ll bring an ATV or my motorcycle for sure.

Beautiful clean cabin with excellent view and ample opportunity for observing wildlife. Owners kept constant and responsive contact during our entire trip, and they even reached out to make we had everything we needed prior to our arrival.

We rented this property to ride side x sides . It's a not on a trailhead but it's not far from property. I will be back !!! The owner was excellent!!

CJ could not have been a better host! She was quick to answer any questions we had. She even has the cutest photo books with nearby hiking trails to explore, complete with directions in case your phone loses signal. Speaking of signal. This part of the state is very spotty service but I had one bar of signal at all times on the property (AT&T) - plenty to send and receive texts and look up gps directions, but my husband had none (Verizon). However the wifi is very fast and he was able to connect to that. We streamed movies and music with no issue. The cabin was very clean and had everything we could need! The view over the valley is gorgeous and the firepit was just perfect. Hardly any light pollution so the stars looked so bright. We hiked Pedestal Rocks, Kings Bluff, Sams Throne and drove lots of off roading trails. Everything was within minutes of the cabin. Don't miss the country store in Sand Gap. It's worth a stop just to see the original post office inside.

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location with wonderful views! It was amazing to see the deer come right up to the cabin. Everything was there that we needed...grill, firepit, etc. Also located near great trails & the overlook.
