Cozy Cedar Lodge surrounded by Ozark National Forest with great views!

Cedar Lodge Lookout is the perfect romantic getaway. This cozy, rustic cabin is located in the gorgeous Ozark National Forest. Whether you are looking for a couple’s getaway or a fun family vacation, Cedar Lodge has it all.
The Master bed has a king size bed and the 2nd loft bedroom has a queen size bed. There is also a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room.
Enjoy endless outdoor activities such as: hiking, visiting waterfalls and rivers, float trips, rock climbing, ATV trails, watching wildlife, swimming holes, horseback riding, visiting caves, mountain biking, fishing and hunting and the beautiful Scenic Byway 7 that features the Arkansas Grand Canyon. The Buffalo National River access points for canoeing, fishing and swimming are just a short scenic drive away. After an adventurous day of outdoor fun, come home to a relaxing evening sitting around the fire pit, or enjoying time with family on the spacious deck grilling up your favorite meal and soaking in the peaceful scenery and beautiful views. Our cabin has a wonderful sunroom where you can sip your morning coffee watching the sun rise over the beautiful Ozark mountains. We are located close to the Richland Creek Wilderness area, the Big Piney Creek and Haw Creek Recreation area. One of our favorite things about this location is that the drive to a destination is just as treasured as the actual attraction.

Perfect cozy cabin!

The perfect place to be for a rainy week! The large windows made us feel like we were part of nature, even while socked in by fog and rain. We enjoyed reading books, napping, and playing games. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were extremely comfortable! We had absolutely everything we could possibly want or need. On sunny days, we enjoyed beautiful views from the deck and Scenic Byway 7 and had a beautiful hike up Lost valley to Eden Falls. We’ll have to return sometime when it’s not rainy season. But even in the rain, this was a perfect vacation cabin and perfect week for us!

Spring Break getaway

Cabin was cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed looking at the stars every night from the big back porch. Lots to do in every direction. We had a SxS and did trails everyday.

Had a great time being away from it all

It definitely was the cabin out in the woods we were asking for. House was clean and had a good bed in the master room and loft. The area was great and we had a lot of fun hiking and exploring. The plates and cups are good but the pans are a little worn out.

Beautiful cabin and property

Stayed here with a friend of mine and enjoyed it very much. Clean and comfortable cabin in a private area. We were there in early March so trees had not leafed out yet. Would be excellent in summer or fall for beautiful views. Limited cell service, but was not a problem for us. Good communication from the host. Note, the cabin is in a dry county, so if you want adult beverages, plan accordingly to bring them with you. Overall excellent place!

Amazing Cabin RZR riding perfect location!!

The cabin was perfect for our stay and much needed vacation! We spent every day riding our RZR for an entire week! Rode over 500 miles and still touch the surface of trails available! Cabin was clean and had everything we could possibly need! Would definitely recommend and return if we get the chance! Thank you!

Wonderful cabin

We drove up from Hot Springs to stay at this cabin and the drive to the cabin was one of our favorite parts. The cabin is secluded and surrounded by beautiful greenery. The house had tons of amenities that were helpful during our stay and the bed was so comfy! Highly recommended 10/10

Clean and peacful

The cabin is truely cozy and peaceful. For a family of 5 it was comfortable and wonderful. We were super impressed on the cleanliness even being out in the wilderness. The patio view and space was perfect for grilling. The bonfire area was also great to sit at for a morning coffee or night time fire.

Wonderful quiet clean cabin

We had a wonderful time on vacation at this cabin. It's so peaceful there. The cabin was clean and well maintained. It had all the amenities we needed. Sheri is an awesome host and I would love to go back.

This is a heavenly place: beautiful mountain side located. It is over look a wonderful rolling hills c with lovely fire pit outdoor . It is so wonderful . It is provided all the things one could think of. It had been a wonderful time to get to use this lodge thank you so much for your thoughtfulness as of host.

Perfect little cabin.

Loved the cabin and loved the care that Sheri put into it. It felt like home. Be sure to check out the books in the sunroom, we found some amazing waterfalls and will be purchasing that book to better plan our trip back. Even made use of the hiking sticks and were glad we had them. Cabin was clean and well stocked for our needs...even had plenty of quality toilet paper, not the cheap stuff most cabins use. Thank you, Sheri, for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!

Beautiful Property in the Ozarks

I was working in the area and my sister and her kids came out to stay with me for the weekend. Really beautiful property, very relaxing and calming. Only wish I wasn't working and had more time to enjoy it!

Just a wonderful time

Cabin was perfect for a couples get-away. The cabin is wonderfully situated to hike, atv, relax and take in the wonderful peace and quiet along with a great view from the sunroom and seck. We weven were surprised by some swing seats below the upper deck overlooking the valley.. with some good wine in the wvening it was wonderful. You do get peaceful quietness, yet close to some neat local general stores and all of the hiking you could want to do. A great central location to take some day trips from, along with having an OHV to go enjoy the scenary. Sheri was wonderful as a host. Available if you need her and reqlly helped us out with providing alot of insight into the local area and some of the best trails to go experience. Thank you Sheri. Looking forward to being back....

Recommend Cedar Lodge

Had a wonderful 5 days staying at Cedar Lodge cabin. Cabin was clean, well stocked with all essentials. Everything worked great. Sitting in the sun room watching sun come up was a real plus. TV worked good, sound bar was a little hard to understand. Never got it working, but used the tv sound and it was sufficient. Overall, can not find any reason to knock this place. Wonderful time and would rebook without hesitation.

A cozy cabin with everything and s’more.

A beautiful clean cabin with cozy beds, wonderful amenities, and amazing views overlooking the Ozark National Forest. We loved staying here and watching the sunrise, looking up at the magnificent stars, and enjoying our coffee all while sitting on the deck. And the firewood and chairs all ready there made making smore’s with our grandson’s fun! Thank you for all the little extras that made our stay easy and memorable.

New years 2024

We really enjoyed our stay at the cedar lodge cabin! It was well equipped and we loved the fireplace and especially the sunrise view. The cleanliness was upmost important! Comfortable bed made for a good nights rest. We hiked into Pam’s Grotto and Lonesome Falls and also into the Alum Cove bridge. Great communication with the owner.. Highly recommend!!
