"We stayed 12 days at Beachside and already plan on returning. The unit was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, fabulous deep porch! Units do vary in porch size so look at the photos. This one was deep and in the shade during the afternoon, perfect. A breeze blew everyday and we never once turned on the AC, the ceiling fans were all that was needed. "My friend and I booked a stay at “Muna” guest house for this stay. The house was very beautiful and had all amenities you would need! However, when booking, it did not seem to specify in an obvious way that this house would be off of the resort (about a 3-5 minute walk) so this surprised us. Even though it is off the resort you still can use all resort amenities though. Other than that, the guest house was clean, quiet, and beautiful with tons of birds and wildlife around. "

"Our first time back in Belize in 18 years . Umaya was the perfect place. The views over the lagoon towards the Maya mountains are perfect backdrop after a day at the beach and pool. "We loved the eco friendly concept, and the resort and staff were wonderful. The food at the Rhum Shack was exceptionally good, and our compliments to the chefs. Our room was upgraded due to a birthday, which was appreciated. The beach was fantastic as were the pools. Andrew was the Concierge, and our tour guide on a full day tour to the ruins and cave diving. He was excellent, knowledgeable, and very professional! We enjoyed the tours so much thanks to him."
