"We stayed for one night. The unit was large and offered plenty of space. Parking was convenient and dining options were within walking distance. The staff was very helpful; there was a slight mixup with the room, but they were able to come up with a solution we were happy with. Thank you."

"I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hotel Portal Colonial. Great location in Escazu, which is a really nice neighbourhood and still only a few minutes from centro SJ. Rooms were spacious and clean, and in overall it was a very comfortable feeling in the hotel. The staff were amazing. They made for a super comfortable stay, and made you feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend to anyone! "

"The rooms are really nice, and overall comfort was good! The pillows were huge and did not provide the best sleeping experience for my preference. There was loud from other rooms and the power was out some of the day. No possibility for extra service such as late check out and the area is not very inviting. "
