"We ‘just’ needed a place to sleep driving from San Francisco to Newport Beach and made a quick online reservation. Didn’t expect much and were more than pleasantly surprised, when we checked in. The most amazing views and super friendly staff greeted us and we enjoyed every moment. Clean, friendly, good for the soul. We will be back and stay much longer next time. "

"Adorable spanish style hotel just a block from the beach, with extras like daily wine receptions, breakfast, beer and salsa in the afternoon and pie for dessert in the evening. Nice roomy jacuzzi tub. Wish the toilets weren't so low to the ground (kinder on the knees for your older clients). Dining and shopping options just outside the front door. Beautiful beach with little crowds."

"A great place that most people will drive by between LA and San Francisco. Pismo Beach is a nice smaller beach/surfer place with some really great views on the Pacific. The Cliffs is a very nice place with friendly staff that we can recommend to all and a place we will return to again. The reason - one of the most beautiful views of the Pacific from the hotel and from the pool (even a heated whirlpool if you want to) and we had a nice lunch looking at the Pacific and we even saw Whales jumping...

"Dejligt hotel med perfekt beliggenhed. Vi havde bestilt værelse med udsigt til havet og det kan bestemt anbefales. Poolen er opvarmet også om sommeren da vestkysten ofte byder på havgus og let overskyet vejr om formiddagen og solen derfor ikke kan varme poolen op."
