"The main thing was it was clean and that was great. The room was small but had a fridge and microwave so it worked for us. We liked the price more than anything so we could afford to stay longer. Knowing what we paid, we didn’t expect anything that we didn’t get. Couldn’t get the TV to work after the first day ( it would turn on but couldn’t select anything- even after resetting the power, pressing every button on the remote, removing the batteries etc. it was walking distance to town and...
"Spent a couple nights at the Bird Rock Hotel, we stayed in the Salt Spring Suite. Large room, with a small kitchenette, small living room and a cute little outdoor seating area. The only complaint I have is there was no bathroom counter space. Pedestal sink with no room for my blow dryer or make up. Dining table close by for my bathroom items. I definitely recommend this suite and would definitely book again."
"We had a great time. Room was spacious and the view of the fisherman’s bay was beautiful. Tons of space for families to hang out and spend time together. This is a peaceful, quiet environment to unwind with family, not a party spot."
"Excellent views over the harbor and nice menu with delicious pancakes However as with many restaurants the service was not good. Why aren’t wait staff trained to come back after a minute to see if they need anything or if everything is ok? Why don’t they come around and fill up water and coffee? Earn your 20%.
