We only booked a room because we missed our ferry and needed to stay somewhat close(30 minutes from the Ceiba ferry terminal) to catch one the next morning and our frustration quickly turned to delight. We arrived 3 hours before our check in time but happened to see Noemi and she provided us with beach towels and chairs, as well as great recommendations for lunch. She kept us updated as soon as our room was ready, which was greatly appreciated even though we were having too much fun at Seven Seas beach to go back! The condo was more than spacious enough for myself, my wife and our toddler. The view from the balcony was beautiful and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The only downside was that we only stayed one night! Next time we visit Puerto Rico, we will absolutely try to stay here again!

After using the bathroom, you could have sprayed the airfreshner which is provided. Happy you enoyed the view.

Great owners who went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience in Puerto Rico. From having beach towels, chairs, coolers, etc. available for use (no charge) to being available to help at 3am with a exit gate issue. Beautiful views of the ocean, easy access to the biobay tours (don't miss this) and restaurants / bars within walking distance.

Property very clean and in a great location for looking out over the water and getting food. The owners are very communicative and responsive. The 2nd bedroom (flamenco beach) has 2 actual comfortable twin beds (unlike the previous accommodation in Old San Juan with just an uncomfortable futon for our son). We enjoyed our stay, and would stay again. Thank you!

It was dated but most properties are, it was beautiful, the view was off the chain, lots of things to do, the owner’s were very helpful, loved the roosters!!!!

Gracias por su estadia. Para poder operacional adecuadamente checkout es a las diez. Solamente es una hora menos comparado a los hoteles grandes cual tiene mucho mas flexibilidad.

The host has a really detailed guests book that lays out restaurant, transportation, check-in/out policy, etc. The room is well maintained. Except that there is no wifi and hair dryer, everything else is great!

Thank you for staying with us. There is wifi in the back balcony or first floor terrace (but not inside the apartment). The hair dryer and iron is provided upon request but are not left inside the apartment.

This place was great if you want a "nothing fancy" kind of place in a great location with plenty of space and a great view! I would stay here again. AC worked fine, kitchen was sufficient, rooms were clean.

This is a unique property that is not for everyone, but it was fine for us. There is no on-site staff and you check in using codes sent to you from the owners of the property. Then much to my surprise, they do not provide any toiletries, which meant we had to go find simple things like soap and shampoo. Overall, everything was fine with the property, however, I was shocked to read the instructions telling us that we had to clean the apartment prior to leaving. We were required to do the dishes, and sweep the floors. I was almost expecting them to ask us to do the laundry as well. My advice to the owners is if they are going to provide a service, then provide the service. Your guests are paying for it, so why make them do all the work. On a positive note, the price was right and the property was functional and comfortable.

Thank you for staying at Suenos del Mar. After COVID it is not uncommon that the owners are not at the property upon arrival. We are always a phone call away and at the property all day when our guests are out enjoying themselves. The shampoo and soap should not be a surprise since it is posted on the website where the reservation was made and is mentioned twice on your platform when the reservation is made and on the day of your arrival. Most people don’t read those messages that pertain to the property and therefore are disappointed when they arrive if they are not prepared. Our price is “right” because we do not charge a cleaning fee (like Airbnb) but we do provide the cleaning basics in the apartment just in case you want to keep a clean apartment during your stay. Washing your dirty dishes and/or taking out the garbage should not be considered cleaning since it is the basic task that should be done when staying at apartments and not in a hotel. Hope you enoyed the island.

This property sold us a room but was unprepared for our stay. When we arrived the gate was locked and we had to seek out instructions on how to enter. When we entered the room we discovered dirty rags and tools on the kitchen counter. Then, after unloading our car we realized the room had no running water! The owner/contact originally told us we may need to find other accommodations. Not what you want to hear at 8pm, especially when traveling with small children. And, it's not as if the area had a ton of other options to choose from. The water did finally get turned on for us but we were instructed to use the shower (no hot water) and flush the toilet on a limited basis. Again, not what you want to hear when paying $ for accommodations. Had they been ready for our stay we would've given a better review as it was a nice sized room with a balcony view of the ocean.

On the day of your arrival, unbeknown to us, there was a broken pipe in town, and we were working off the water tanks. Since we were unaware that we were working off the tanks, the first of five tanks emptied out. All the guests had checked out and you were the only guest arriving. Once we received your call at 6:30 p.m., we immediately sent a neighbor to open the 2d tank of water for your usage. Your family never lacked running water. You were informed that we would be working off the water tank in which water had to be used moderately (which has nothing to do with the running of hot water). The option was given to stay with the small inconvenience of moderately using water, or if you preferred, to book another location which had running water. (Instead of a negative review, I would have preferred that you had left) Unless you have experienced being without water, the usage is quickly consumed and recommendations were given not to waste the water that was available in the tank. When traveling be informed of the inconveniences that the residents who live on the island experience every day since it may be an experience that you may encounter during your visit.

The host was a horrible and confrontational wench!
The terrace only has seating for 3 ppl, that blue and cool looking seating does not exist! The host Naiomi is the worse person I’ve encountered in my travels. The photos didn’t match anything and this owner blamed me and refused any responsability. Gave them a bad review because they wouldn’t answer and Naiomi tried to square off as I was leaving and unpacking to leave because I can’t read. Her husband is nicer but will never stay here there wasn’t even soap in the unit. I really thought she was confronting me looking for a fight, she was just lucky I was waking up and it wasn’t the night before when we messaged her.

You will be doing us a favor by not returning. Guests with your behavior and foul language are not welcomed in my vacation rental. Fortunately you only stayed one night.

This was a quaint little place. It seemed very clean. It’s right down the street from lots of activities and food. The owner was very helpful. The marina can get a little stinky at times. Close to 7seas beach.

The woman who cares for the place was very attentive. She would text to see if we needed anything. The apt was cold (didn’t realize how hot PR really is). Overall I would definitely recommend.
