Relaxing Family and Friend Escape with Wrap Around Porch

This huge, over 2000 sq ft apt has a wrap around porch, 4 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer and 2 full bathrooms. All rooms have AC. Rest in a hammock on a lazy afternoon, eat breakfast outside on the porch, play, relax and chill. Enjoy the view of the rainforest. Location is good: in driving distance it's 15 min from closest beach; 17 min from the rainforest; 10 min to outlet mall shopping; 10 min to a string of great restaurants; its about 30 minutes to San Juan.

All of the bedrooms and the living room have a high functioning AC unit. We also put in a second bathroom. This is based on feedback from guests. We aim to please. So if there is something you need, please let us know.

One caveat is that you have to walk up one flight of stairs to enter the apartment. So, if you can't walk one flight of stairs, this may not be the place for you.

Most people find it very spacious.

Very nice place

it was very roomy and cozy only thing it wasnt close to the nightlife, restaurants, and other attractions although uber wasnt much we enjoyed our stay I would stay again

Property itself was great, comfortable, cozy and relaxing.The only downside is the ac, if the windows had a covering, it would cool off faster and stay cool longer.Also, consider putting some non-slip strips on the stairs.

Plenty of Space - A/C worked great!

We had a party of 9 people and 2 babies under one year. There was plenty of space and the A/C worked very well! Ceiling fans in each bedroom helped the A/C work even better. Great neighborhood with friendly locals - we felt very safe.

Nice place for family

As mentioned in other reviews, at first I was a bit apprehensive of the location, but once we went up to the apartment, i was pleased. The apartment is beautiful and well kept. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The apartment is close to the Yunque, beaches, supermarket, restaurants and mall. The only issue was the internet. It never worked. Other than that, it was a perfect. home for my family and

My family and I enjoyed staying in this apartment. Clean and quiet neighborhood. House clean and out. Enjoyed game boards, cards, and toys for the little one. Good supply of towels, toiletries. Kitchen supplied with spices. Comfy beds. Loved the porch and specially the hamaca, evenings outside, cool air breeze. Host was attentive through our stayed. I will consider this property again. Thanks.

Spring Break Getaway

Dan was a great host. We had had a different VRBO by someone else that had cancelled just about 24 hours before we were set to arrive. Dan was able to respond right away. He also gave us some great tips on things to do in the area as well as perfect directions on how to get there. The home was exactly as he described. There were umbrellas as well as other things to take to the beach. The home was very clean and comfortable. The town was easy to get around and many activities a short drive away.

Hidden gem

Ok so I honestly felt uneasy when we pulled up to the property because of how the area looked. Once we got into the house my mind changed. It was beautiful! 6 of us slept comfortably and the home was stocked with basic needs. It was easy to communicate with the host and he was always so sweet. He even gave us a list of recommendations around the area. I would stay here again but I would definitely get a driver next time since you’re far from San Juan

The ROOSTER starts crowing at 4 am!!! And then the local street dogs start barking. Was SOOO hard to sleep. The unit itself is nice and clean. Beds were great and comfortable and the couches could be slept on. We got locked out and the cleaning lady came out at 11 pm and got us in (since she had accidentally locked us out). Quick communication with owner by text. Neighborhood is falling apart and pretty scary when you come in at night, though we met 3 of the elderly neighbors who were friendly and learned all about the next door house full of stray cats.

Solid Stay

We had a great time at this property. It served it's purpose, we only wanted a place to sleep. We were out the majority of the time. It was clean, and smelled good when we first arrived. Very nostalgic, reminded me of a typical auntie's house in the Caribbean. The property managers were kind and very responsive. The bathrooms were nice as well. The location wasn't ideal. The dogs barked until the early morning hours, took a brief break, then resumed again at dawn. On the other side of the house. There are roosters that crow for HOURS, like from 4am - 9am. Things you need: - Trash bags, they only provided us with one. - Sponge: There was only a used microfiber cloth to clean dishes. - Bug spray: We saw two huge roaches. This is to be expected in the Caribbean. Overall, I would stay again. I never felt unsafe in the neighborhood.

Not a good location

There’s no tv in rooms. The tv in living room didn’t have cable service, you will depend on Netflix or so and the internet didn’t even work. Pictures make place look great and spacious and it’s not that spacious. Surrounding are abandoned most of them and you will hear all the noises from the outside all night long including a few beautiful rooster 😉. . If you plan on being in the area and just use it to sleep, it can work. Master bedroom don’t have a bathroom so you will share bathroom with the rest of family. Bed is comfortable. Stairs are a bit steep and if it rains you’ll get soaked. No parking lot just in the side of the road. Would advise isolate windows at least to avoid so much noise in the house due to some neighbors being awake all night long.

Grossly Misrepresented Listing vs. Reality

DO NOT STAY HERE. The owner Dan has digitally staged his listing. Upon arriving, you can see that Dan has left of the neighborhood surrounding his house because it woud give a potential renter-as it did me in person-a unsafe feeling. When we entered the house, we immediately noticed that the living space is grossly misrepresented. Part of the reason we chose this space was due to the living area. VRBO said it was okay for owners to change what is listed, but I do believe so. I feel as though when you "Book with Confidence" you expect to find what you have paid for or at least something comparable. There was no running hot water in the kitchen which was okay with VRBO because we could get hot water from the bathrooms. In one of the bathrooms, there was a window that would not close. This caused the room to be hot, unsecure, and noisy. There was a side door that would not seal. There was no air in the bathrooms or kitchen. There was also a propane take hooked up to a dryer. When I first booked this house, I had a intution that it was a scam when Dan took my money but would not answer my questions until VRBO made him. VRBO promised me that if the fact the house misrepresented or I did not feel comfortable at the listing, they would find me something else. They lied. I would not book this house because there is no guarntee that Dan is going to be honest. Also, I have first hand experience with VRBO, you cannot "Book with Confidence." They stand by their clients; not customers.
No running hot water in the kitchen. VRBO said it is okay because there was hot water in the bathroom.
This bathroom window did not close causing it to be unsafe, hot, and noisy.
This door does not seal. Another way the house was unsafe.
The couch Dan has pictured is not what is actually shown. 6-8 people cannot sit on this couch.

Great place to stay, close to most everything!!

This is a great property to stay when visiting Puerto Rico. Great location and close to great beaches, jungle and Airport. Old San Juan is not far away (35-45) minutes. The house was great for the 9 of us to stay and was accommodating. I would stay here again when I returned to Puerto Rico. A great place to come back to after a day at the beach or in town.

Good property

This was a large space for our two families. There are windows that open between the bedrooms which limits privacy. The neighborhood is full of crowing roosters like much of PR, so this may interfere with a restful sleep. Also the Internet was VERY slow and spotty. But we did enjoy the space for the price and proximity to the main highway.

We enjoyed the spacious balcony

Communicating with Dan was easy and quick. This location was close for what we wanted to do, however it rained almost the 2 full days we were there and we mostly stayed inside. Many stairs to climb, but we knew that. The key box is a bit of a pain to get to key….always had to fiddle with it a few till it opened. Most beds were comfy. The queen bed in the back room was not comfortable at all. The bathrooms are nice and updated. The A/C in living room did not work well. While the apartment was nice, the outside is meh……it we expected that. We felt very safe while there. Thank you Dan

Everything you need for a great stay!

Loved that the property came with beach chairs and beach umbrella to use for the beach and lots of games for kids, also nice that tv came with Netflix for nightly movie watching with the family overall great stay and great house. Thank for allowing us to stay.

Comfortable stay!

This was the place we didn’t know we needed. We stayed in PR for a long time and let’s face it, hotels are pricey and small to accommodate our larger family. This place fit the bill for the middle of our staycation. 4 comfy bedrooms and cozy spaces to hang out as a family. The home is well cared for and well appointed with everything you need including towels, beach towels and beach gear, even board games. The host communicated rapidly whenever we needed and the washer and dryer were a bonus. Though the neighborhood wasn’t the nicest to look at, it was safe, the neighbors friendly and close to major roadways to get to our destinations. I would stay there again!
