The Space:
Horizon Villa at Isla Verde is a stylish and cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom retreat that sleeps 2, just steps from the pristine shores of Isla Verde Beach. This modern escape is fully air-conditioned, includes a washer and dryer for your convenience, and offers parking for one vehicle. Perfectly situated in one of the best locations in Puerto Rico, it provides easy access to top restaurants, pharmacies, grocery stores, the airport, and more. Whether you're seeking a relaxing beach getaway or an adventure-filled vacation, Horizon Villa provides the perfect home base.
LIVING AREA
Step into a bright and inviting living space designed for comfort and relaxation. The cozy living room features two plush sofas and a flat-screen TV, creating the perfect spot to unwind after a day at the beach. The open layout seamlessly connects the kitchen, dining area, and living room, making it easy to enjoy meals and quality time together.
BEDROOM & BATHROOM
The spacious bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, a flat-screen TV, blackout curtains for restful sleep, and ample closet space for your belongings. The bathroom, located just off the bedroom, boasts a sleek and modern design, featuring a spacious walk-in shower and a double sink vanity, providing both comfort and convenience.
PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):
We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.
KITCHEN
The sleek and modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay, including a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Whether you're preparing a quick breakfast before heading out or a delicious meal to enjoy at home, this kitchen has you covered.
GETTING AROUND
We recommend moving around via Uber if staying within the general Isla Verde and San Juan area. If you decide to rent a car, please keep in mind that this apartment has one assigned parking.
LOCATION
Horizon Villa is just steps away from Isla Verde Beach, allowing you to experience the sun, sand, and sea with ease. While the unit does not offer direct beach views, its unbeatable location makes it a prime choice for those looking to enjoy one of the most sought-after areas in Puerto Rico. With dining, shopping, and entertainment all within walking distance and the airport just a short drive away, you'll have everything you need at your fingertips.
There are many things to do in the surrounding areas; here are some of our favorites:
Chill at the beach! It is one of our favorite beaches in Puerto Rico and a must-do if you stay at Horizon Villa. The apartment has beach chairs, towels, and a cooler for a long day at the beach.
Lunch or dinner at La Placita de Santurce, a local market with 20+ restaurants and awesome nightlife. We love Santaella restaurant, local cuisine with a modern approach in La Placita.
Shop at The Mall of San Juan. This brand new mall is a 10-minute drive from the apartment and has excellent shops and dining options.
Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 30-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship.
Spend a day in Old San Juan. Horizon Villa is a 15 min drive away from the oldest city in all of the US. There is a lot of history and great food and drinks to savor.
Other Things to Note:
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, especially during the peak months of Hurricane Season, which are July to October. Travel insurance is inexpensive and will reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, this will depend on what the coverage purchased covers. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase. Disclaimer: we are not associated with any travel insurance companies.
AMENITIES
West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler.
West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel-size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.
HOUSE RULES
Check-in time is at 4:00 pm
Check-out time is at 11:00 am
NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
Maximum occupancy of 2 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors.
Max. occupancy is strictly enforced, and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am, no parties or noisy activities during these hours.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease, or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess; stained towels/linens will be charged.

We will share recommendations on things to do and places to eat prior to your arrival and we are available to provide suggestions for any other activities you may be interested in doing during your trip. Most importantly, you will have a dedicated Property Manager to resolve any issues that may arise during your stay. We want to make your experience the best it can be!
