Hotellet glemte at tilføje loyalitetsstempler, men det blev klaret efter hjemkomst af Hotels.com ved telefonopkald. Tæt på lufthavnen og biludlejningsfirmaer. Gratis lufthavnsshuttle."

"Xandari exceeded our expectations. The service was exceptional. The grounds were also amazing. We did the waterfalls hike and that was super fun and it was a great work out. "Highly recommend The Retreat hotel! It was gorgeous and the views breath taking. The staff was very attentive and kind. Will definitely go again. The tours were over priced though. ~400 per tour and while the locations were beautiful it was not worth that much money. Also note there is no food you can buy except for in the restaurants there. So grab some snack at the airport. But highly recommend this place. Even in the rainy season it was amazing "

"After a long flight from JFK, it was wonderful to experience this "hidden" gem with a nice courtyard close to SJO airport. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the owner taking time out to make us feel at home. Breakfasts under the shady trees were very appreciated. As a base for exploring Alajuela and the surrounding area, this place is strongly recommended. "
