We were in town for a convention. We got to the parking lot and did not want to get out of the car. People everywhere loitering, kids throwing stuff running around no adults. There were some but looked like they were just looking to buy or sell drugs, asking for spare change and looking like we were imposing in the area by being there. Should have turned around at that time but I'm thinking maybe inside was better.
Check in and head to the room, we pass a dirty stained matress against the wall next to our room door. Get in the room there's holes in the couch that i was suppose to pull out and sleep on, room was so dark no lighting but one lamp, writing on the walls. I didnt inspect the kitchen or bathroom. At this time the kids were freaked out and i was mad the pictures on the site basically lied. We walk right back out and say we do not want to stay there. Right in front of the manager we get threatened by some kids walking out of the elevator, no one says anything. The traffic in and out while we check out was so heavy, non smoking yet people smoking everywhere, loud yelling/ fighting in the building. We were told that we may not get our money back but wont know for at least a week. I just wanted to leave. It was NOT safe at all in the rooms or outside. It was like housing projects from movies. Obviously had tons pf people living there that had no where else to go. We get back to the car and there's a lady looking under the cars looks clearly on something. Just n
