The Space:

Life here happens naturally between the sea and the shade of the olive trees. This retreat looks directly onto the water, with open views from the bedrooms, outdoor sitting areas, and living spaces, creating a calm atmosphere throughout the day. Large openings bring in the light and the sea breeze, while stone details and wooden ceilings give the interiors a warm and grounded feel.



The living area connects easily with the kitchen and outdoor dining spaces, making it easy to move between indoors and outside from morning until evening. The kitchen is fully equipped for longer stays and relaxed meals at home, with everything you might need during your stay.



The two bedrooms feel quiet and restful, with natural light and sea views shaping the atmosphere, along with traditional decoration. Τhe bathroom follows the same simple and practical style, designed for comfort after a day by the water, while an outdoor shower makes it easy to rinse off before entering the property.



Outside, the experience is defined by the landscape. Olive trees stretch across the terraces surrounding the house, while pathways lead directly down to the private pebble beach below. Hammocks and shaded seating areas invite you to slow down and stay outdoors throughout the day, and children can enjoy the swing in the yard while the water remains only moments away.

Guest Access:

You will have exclusive access to the entire house, the terraces, outdoor dining areas, and the private path leading down to the pebble beach below.



The Neighborhood:

The southern side of Samos is known for its quieter landscape, traditional mountain villages, and long stretches of untouched coastline, and this part of the island feels especially connected to nature. The house sits among olive groves near the village of Spatharei, around 6 km away along a well maintained road that winds through the hills above the sea. Days here move slowly, shaped by the sound of birds, the scent of wild herbs, and uninterrupted views across the water. In Spatharei you will find traditional tavernas and local cafés, while the nearby villages of Pagondas and Pyrgos, both within around 10 km, offer a well stocked supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, and everyday essentials.



The closest beach lies directly below the property, a quiet pebble beach reached by a private path from the house, ideal for swimming, reading by the water, or spending the entire day by the sea. Balos Beach, around 18 km away, is known for its long stretch of pebbles and calm water, while Psili Ammos Beach, approximately 20 km away, offers shallow turquoise water and a relaxed atmosphere beside the sea. Limnionas Beach, around 24 km from the property, combines pebbles and sand with open sea views and clear swimming conditions.



The surrounding area is ideal for exploring the island’s natural landscape. Walking routes pass through olive groves and mountain scenery around Spatharei and Pagondas, while the forests and slopes of Mount Kerkis, approximately 35 km away, offer hiking routes, traditional villages, and panoramic views across the Aegean. Potami Waterfalls, around 45 km away, provide shaded walking trails and freshwater pools surrounded by dense greenery.



Southern Samos is also closely connected to local food and traditional island life. You can spend your evenings in village tavernas serving locally produced olive oil, seafood, and regional dishes, or explore the coastline by boat during the summer months. The nearby villages regularly host local celebrations and cultural events that reflect the slower rhythm of life on this side of the island.



Getting Around:

Samos International Airport is approximately 22 km from the property, offering seasonal domestic and international connections. The main port of Vathy is around 35 km away, while the port of Pythagoreio, with ferry connections to nearby islands and the Turkish coast, is approximately 24 km away.



Other Things to Note:

This is the kind of place where unspoiled nature quickly becomes part of your daily routine. Please note that the final 700 metres of the road leading to the house are unpaved. A standard car can manage the route with careful driving; however, if you plan to rent a vehicle, we recommend choosing a 4x4.
