"We've been to Emerald isle numerous times but have never stayed on the sound side of the island. Now that we have, I'm not sure we'll ever go back to the ocean side! This property was such a delight from the incredible all around deck with a amazing views of sunrises and sunsets over the sound, to the proximity of restaurants and a nearly endless supply of ice (I had no idea what a luxury that was until I had it!) My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed floating in the sound, not having to worry...

"It was great because it was so close to the beach had outside space on the deckEverything we needed to stay there the hosts were very nice and plenty of space for all to sleep. It was very user friendly I think we just needed the beach it was awesome"

"This was a clean cozy place to stay, but the beds weren't as comfortable as we've found in hotels or other vacation places. We never found the close by walk to a beach. But overall, it was clean, a good location, decent kitchen and living room. The instructions for the keyless entry location don’t match the actual location of the code lock (key was inside the house, code given in instructions was for lockbox on doorknob - not keybox on post)."

"The property was secluded and we enjoyed that. However it was not clean. The upstairs apartment floors were dirty as well as the air and heat did not work. The window in bathroom up there is very drafty. Downstairs the beds need to be pulled out and cleaned behind. Food was behind one bed and my small dog found it and was sick from eating it. I am not in the habit of pulling beds out to see what is behind them. (Lesson learned)!We had issues with fan and light controls as well as heat and air...
