Cozy cabin with views of Cave Run Lake-2 miles from Zilpo beach

Cave Run Lake Hideaway is your getaway! One of the only cabins you'll find with a breathtaking view of Cave Run Lake! Enjoy the beautiful views from the screened in porch or while enjoying the tranquility of the hot tub. This secluded cabin, on its own private road, is surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forest and is only minutes from one of two access points to the lake, Zilpo Campground, or Leatherwood boat ramp.

The newly renovated cabin has two fully stocked kitchens with everything you would need including pots and pans, crock pots, air fryers, indoor grills, outdoor gas and charcoal grills (briquettes and lighter fluid are not included), blenders, and coffee makers (one pod coffee maker and one drip coffee maker, pods and coffee are provided).

There is a whole separate living area in the walk-out basement which includes one of the kitchens, a private bedroom, a game room with pool table and dart board, a half bath, and an outdoor shower.

The main floor of the cabin has a spacious screened in porch with a futon, dinner table, and ample seating for the whole crew while you take in the view. Just off the screened in porch is the new hot tub!

The main floor kitchen has been updated with granite counter tops and new appliances. The open floor plan boasts beautiful views to the outdoors and is open to the two loft areas upstairs that are connected by a swinging bridge!

The property also provides ample space for parking and turning around your boats and jet skis.

Cave Run Lake was voted one of the best lakes you've never heard of in 2022 by Lonely Planet and it's right at your back door when you visit our cabin. We promise you won't be disappointed in your stay and the experience nature brings when you stay at Cave Run Lake Hideaway.

Please note there is no smoking of any kind allowed in the cabin or on the covered porch. Failure to abide by the no smoking guideline is automatic forfeiture of your full deposit. Also please note, firewood for the firepit is not provided.

You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

Had the absolute best time during our stay! The cabin had everything we needed and more! The kids loved the loft area and play area downstairs! We walked the marked trail on the backside of the property and also the trail near Zlipo! So much fun! Cannot wait to book our next trip- maybe during warmer weather to enjoy the lake!

This is the perfect cabin for a weekend getaway. It is nice and secluded with no other cabins close to you, great vies of the beach, and all the amenities that you could need. My friends and I look forward to making this an annual trip.

The truth about this stay!

I almost hate to tell the truth about this property because it's so beautiful and well appointed that we would like to keep it a secret! The home is comfortable and well equipped with everything you need, the screened in porch is the place to sip your coffee or cocktail and enjoy all the beauty God has created for us. We enjoyed the lake with a boat rental from the marina, drove to Natural Bridge to hike and tried the local spots like the Tasty Freeze and Pop's BBQ. We used the grill and kitchen to cook often as everything was supplied to make that enjoyable. We are very grateful to have made so many memories with our family! We will be back!

"the most epicest place ever"

My nephews had a blast and we created many core memories there! The view was breathtaking! It was about 30 minutes from town- but it was quiet, private, and like I said the view of the lake was unbelievable! Connie was incredibly responsive. Weekend Getaway

We came for weekend to relax and chill with our adult sons and their wives and our stay was perfect! The cabin has everything you can possibly need and was immaculate and decorated so nice! The only things we needed were our food & toiletries. We cooked over the fire, played corn hole, played cards and relaxed on the screened in porch! It was just what we needed to decompress and the kids want to come back for a longer time! Would highly recommend, !! Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

Such a Beautiful property

A group of women and I go away for a silent retreat twice a year. This is our 3rd time doing it and our first time at Cave Run Hideaway. I don’t think we will stay anywhere else after our stay here. It is incredibly secluded overlooking cave run lake. So quiet and beautiful. The cabin is so homey and the attention to the decorative detail was wonderful. The beds and pillows were incredible comfortable and the place was stocked with everything needed and so clean! We will DEFINITELY be back.
