THE SPACE -
You will enter through the backyard and down a few stairs to the basement door. This is where your unit will be.
This is a non-shared space listing meaning that you get an entire area and you do not share any areas with anybody else with the exception of the backyard. The upstairs guest gets access to the upper deck.
This is a mother-in-law basement apartment, the upper area will be rented separately while you are there but there is no common area shared space inside the house. You have your own private kitchen, your own private bathroom, dining room area, and fenced-in backyard space (minus the deck). With this being an older home with a mother-in-law apartment, you may be able to hear a small bit of movement upstairs from the upstairs guests, but during quiet hours this should subside. Please take this into account when booking.
Please be aware that we do have quiet hours between the hours of 10 PM and 8 AM because the upstairs guests and you will need to be respectful of one another. We do not allow parties and we do not allow any additional guests who are not part of your actual reservation.
Whether you are in town for the many conventions or downtown activities, or whether you are coming to ski and explore the amazing outdoor recreation, The Boho Suite will be sure to give your group a great place to stay!
ACCESS TO NEARBY AREAS -
There are bus stops nearby, Uber and Lyft are very affordable and convenient in SLC, and you can bring your car and have ample street parking!
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE -
Please note, we do have several exterior security cameras and care for our property deeply. We don't allow unapproved guests who were not added to the booking. Please be aware you are expected to make leave this home in the condition you find it on arrival. The cleaning fee covers a standard cleaning only and you are asked to follow the checkout procedures.

HOUSE RULES -
1) LOCALS MUST MESSAGE US BEFORE BOOKING.
2) Occupancy limits: We do not allow more than 8 guests in or on the property at any time - violation of which will result in the removal of all guests from the property immediately without refund. You also agree to pay for the "additional guest fee" associated with your reservation if applicable (just because it can sleep up to 8 doesn’t mean it's all included in the nightly rate). You understand that this listing has a full-time tenant in the apartment below and it is critical that you are respectful of noise and quiet hours.
3) Check-in: This is a self-check-in property. You certify that you are willing and able to follow the instructions that are provided by VRBO through the house manual or check-in guide. You can find our house manual and check-in guide here and on the VRBO platform on our listing. You also agree that you will not contact your VRBO host BEFORE reading the house manual and the entire listing.
4) Fees: There is a $200 per day fee for every day of your booking if it is found that you have been smoking on the property. There is a $50 LATE CHECKOUT FEE if you are there longer than you have been authorized as our housekeeper charges us in such a case. You further agree to compensate the host/co-host in full for any financial loss that is suffered as a result of breaking the rules set forth.
We allow 1 dog under 50lbs as we pay for a short-term rental insurance policy allowing pets. We charge $25/night or $150m(whichever is less) after you book, through the Airbnb platform. This fee is not an additional cleaning fee. When you bring a pet you agree to a “zero impact pet policy” meaning that when you depart there will be no additional work required to clean up as a result of a pet being on-site. Animals are not allowed on any furniture and we don’t have any carpet other than area rugs. Please help us by closing the bedroom doors to keep your pet on the hard surface areas and off of the beds.
If you have a service animal we are 100% compliant with these laws but you are still asked to inform us AHEAD OF TIME OR IT WILL NATURALLY BE ASSUMED IT IS A PET, and you are still responsible for all cleaning and/or damage to the premises that occurs as a result of the animal.
5) Quiet Hours are from 10 pm-8 am. Please be aware that you are above a downstairs unit, and you may hear them citing your stay and they will likely hear you, similar to a hotel, condo, or apartment. Please be mindful of others.
- Please remove shoes/boots before entering the unit. SKI Equipment and bike or other recreational equipment must be kept in the entry area!
- If there are any signs of illegal drugs or smoking you will pay a minimum fee of $200 or more as decided by your host AND you will be required to vacate without refund.
- WE DO HAVE, AND DO MONITOR OUR EXTERIOR SECURITY CAMERAS in front and in the back SO PLEASE ADHERE TO THE RULES :) It is a camera that is motion activated and can record video and audio.
These rules may seem intense, but we are very easygoing when our lovely guests follow the rules and most everyone does. It's our pleasure to host you!
Alterations/Changes: Once you have confirmed your booking, any modifications to the dates or guest count may be treated as a cancellation and therefore be subject to the cancellation policy. The host retains the right to charge for lost dates you have removed with an alteration of at least a partial amount to the discretion of the host.
There is a $50 LATE CHECKOUT/EARLY ARRIVAL FEE if you are at the property without proper authorization from the host. You further agree to compensate the host/co-host in full for any financial loss that is suffered as a result of breaking the rules set forth.
