Good but Details Lacking

We enjoyed the house and the location. It was easy to get in/out and it was close to things we wanted to do. Plus, they had fun things like ping-pong and an arcade. However, there were some problems created by poor communication on the owner's part.- The alarm system went off and no pin code was provided to turn it off. Hearing damage levels of sirens went off for several minutes while the alarm company called around. - The house can sleep 14 people but they only provided three towels. Eventually, the property manager got back to us and shared where the secret key was hidden that would unlock the closet that had more towels.- We were required to take the trash out but no trash bags were provided. It turned out that the secret key unlocked a different door with trash bags.- The Internet went out for more than 12 hours. Despite looking everywhere for where the WiFi system might be, it wasn't until the property manager eventually got back to us that we learned it was a plug-looking system in the living room that we had to unplug/replug to get going again.- The check-out instructions varied depending on what source you looked at. (E.g. the book was different than what was printed on a door)- We had to hunt around for the thermostatAs an FYI to anyone with older folks in their groups: there are no bedrooms on the main floor. One bedroom is in the basement and the rest are upstairs.

Great stay

We look forward to coming back to this property next year. Enjoyed the space available - 2 of our party worked from “home” while the others enjoyed the slopes. Good internet connection. Loved the boot dryer. Nicely appointed, comfy beds. Location enabled skiers easy access to surrounding areas easily. Enjoyed the hot tub.

Good location, problematic visit.

The property manager was communicative at first, but as the visit went on, slowly lost cadence. Multiple furnishings were broken on move-in, and the fridge was leaking. Major things taken care-of before move--in, but a bad first impression regardless. No extra pillows/blankets/towels, and ran out of toilet paper on day 2. Previous guests left a lot of miscellaneous objects that didn't get found by cleaning staff. Outdoor garbage is a heaping mess. No functioning smoke detectors. Ski gear storage/organization in the garage was good.

Can't wait to stay AGAIN!!!

So spacious. VERY CLEAN. The hot tub was clean and spa towels were provided for hot tub use. The kitchen was stocked so well and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this place. The basement was fun to play ping pong in too!!! The garage had boot dries and places to hang out skis. It was the perfect ski house and great location to the slopes and restaurants.

Salt Lake House

House in general was in good shape. Location is not immediately adjacent to really anything but easy enough to get to. Really good amount of space in the house. Hot tub and ping pong table were great. Shower in bathroom didn’t work at all, property manager was already aware but we weren’t able to get to resolution during our stay. No hot water in kitchen.

Second visit

This my second time at this property. Clean house and good location but a few maintenance issues. The hot tub cover needs to be replaced and would be great if it was heated prior to arrival. All of the tv remotes are very finicky and need to be replaced. Newer home with nice layout though.

Home away from home

This property was great! With a large group of 12 (4 adults and 8 kids) we fit comfortably with plenty of space. It was very homey and comfy. Plenty of games to play together with 4 tvs in different rooms, so kids could have their separate game systems connected if necessary. One of the bathroom shower drains seemed to drain slow but nothing serious. My only concern was the house security system. We set the system at night and woke up to realize we had no information on the deactivation code. I suggest letting the patrons know the security code while staying or state in the info binder not to set the security system. It was kind of hassle to say the least. But other than that, a great place to stay! I highly recommend it!

Large comfortable home with a great central location.

We spent Thanksgiving week here with our family of 6. Between the main level living room, upstairs loft, and basement ping pong table there is plenty of room to spread out and have fun. But, we spent a lot of time relaxing together in the hot tub (room for 6+). Comfortable beds, 3.5 baths, and being able to use the garage all helped make for a great stay. Large smart TV's are in the living room, loft, and primary bedroom for at-home entertainment. But, the Cinemark movie theater and Pie Pizzeria are just a few minutes away. Downtown SLC to the north and Murray Fashion Place mall to the south are only about 15 minutes from the house.

Lacking some basic items

Good place to stay for large group, but the kitchen was lacking good pans, there were no large knives, no extra trash bags, and no washcloths for the master bathroom. We needed to use the sofa bed and there were no linens made available. Also the hot tub smelled bad.

Best Property Manager Ever

Property Manager either answered the phone immediately or responded within 5 minutes. I've never had this level of responsiveness with any property. Outstanding! Would have given the property a 5, but I was al ittle taken aback driving in through the tatoo parlors and pawn shops to get there. However, we had a vehicle parked outside during our entire stay, and had absolutely no problems. I would describe the neighborhood as "transitional" with lots of new builds with aging apartment buildings nearby. I am generally very cautious, particularly when traveling with a baby. Younger people would probably not share my concerns. The property was clean, location for getting around the city was excellent, and the property manager was outstanding.

Great house

I will be traveling a lot to salt lake and am looking for a home away from home. This property was perfect in a lot of ways and pretty well maintained but unfortunately there were a few issues and although the management company said the owner would come by to address the issues no one ever did despite several calls and messages. No response to an early check-in request, hot tub needed cleaning, tv wouldn’t connect to wi-fi, and a smoke detector behind a locked door beeped for the entire stay. If the communication and responsiveness improved this would be a hook again property!.

Home Away From Home

We loved this location. It was a super convenient location for where we needed to be. Everything was clean and ready for us to use. There were a few maintenance things that are easily fixable, but, that did not affect our stay at all. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will probably book this location again in the future!

Great place to stay - beats staying in a hotel!

Mix of family members in SLC for my sister's graduation at the Salt Palace/Delta Center (Congrats sis!). We stayed here because it was cheaper than getting four hotel rooms even though we only stayed two nights. The good: Good neighborhood, able to park in the garage, lots of places nearby, ping pong table, four rooms, hot tub (even though we didn't use it). The questionable: Upstairs main bath shower didn't drain well. Upstairs main bath sink didn't drain well. Downstairs shower needs maintenance and didn't drain well. No dish towels in the kitchen. No scrubber pad or anything to hand wash dishes, no dish soap either. Upstairs closet labeled with spare towels and bedding was locked. The garbage cans were full (on the side of the house) and had lots of flies. Of note: There are several TVs in the house, but they're all setup to use Roku on guest mode. If you're tech saavy, then this may not be an issue. My dad is NOT tech saavy. He couldn't even get basic channels to play to have something in the background (news, weather, sports.... etc). Final words: I know I knocked the house in a few things above. But I would still do it over. It beats the alternatives, and if you're into ping-pong like my family is, then you'll spend most of the time playing downstairs anyhow. The house was clean, comfortable, and allowed our family to hang out together for a couple days. I do recommend this place and would stay here again. Hopefully the managers will read this. Thanks!

An "okay" experience

When I checked in, the house wasn't cleaned yet. The cleaners told me to come back in an hour. So me and my family left. We came back and everything was cleaned. Other than that it was a good stay. Good neighborhood. Close driving distance to stores and activities.

Home away from home

Fantastic home just as described. We came for a few days and it was super convenient to get to from the airport, as well as to use as a home base while exploring downtown SLC (10 minutes) and for ski trips to Deer Valley/ Park city (35 minutes). The couches in both the downstairs and upstairs living rooms were super comfortable for movie nights, as were the beds. Everything was very clean and all the bathrooms were well stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Even the kitchen was well stocked with spices and cooking supplies. The appliances felt new and the decor was very minimal and clean. The ping pong table and arcade machine downstairs were a really nice touch, as were the board games and shelves of books on the first floor. There's a very large garage which was perfect for putting out our wet supplies after a day of skiing. The host was very communicative and reached out the day before and the day of to make sure everything went smoothly. Overall was great for a big group and exactly what we needed to come home to at the end of a fun day around town / the mountains.

Family Time

We came for spring break and had a great time. The house was very roomy and accommodated everyone well. The house manager was promt and tried to help any way possible. Totally recommend!!!
