Godt til prisen.
Meget spartansk hotel, enkelt og billigt. Intet TV og smal seng Ligger fantastisk overfor Salisbury cathedral og centralt i bymidten. Okay morgenmad. Stort sted med mange mennesker.

Good overnight stay
Stayed only for a single night enroute to visiting Stonehenge. Had booked a simple single room with shared bathroom facilities, and it worked great for the purpose. Good if you want to stay in a place different from the usual hotels, very friendly reception staff.

Quiet location with magnificent view.
Nice and quiet location just opposite the Cathedral. The rooms has no tv but it doesn’t matter. Our room had view to the Cathedral. Breakfast was fine and in a dining hall with all the students that were there for their pilgrimage study period. Saurum is highly recommendable.

Nærmeste nabo til Salisbury Cathedral.
Fantastisk sted at overnatte! Stedet er en kombination af et refugie, college for teologistuderende og b&b. Ikke stor luksus, men alt fungerer fint. Storslået beliggenhed lige op ad Salisbury Cathedral i det lukkede område, som kirken er en del af. Dejlige restauranter og gammel bydel meget tæt på. Kommer meget gerne igen!

Det ideelle valg
Man får en fornemmelse af Englands og Salisburys storslåede historie på Sarum College. Personalet var meget hjælpsomt. Jeg havde et rart, rent og rummeligt værelse, som jeg følte mig godt tilpas i. Sarum College har den ideelle beliggenhed, da katedralen og 4-5 museer ligger i 5-15 minutters gåafstand herfra. Morgenmaden var både god og omfattende. Jeg ville ubetinget vælge at bo her, hvis jeg skulle til Salisbury, igen. Det ideelle valg.

Room was light airey and warm. Very comfortable. Good shower, and bathroom. Location was fantastic, in the Cathedral close. The view when u walk out the colleges front door, is Salisbury cathedral. While the close is near the towns centre. So all amenities are on the doorstep.

Sarum College offers comfortable accommodation, a stones throw from Salisbury Cathedral, with free parking. It is just a short stroll into the city with a plentiful choice of places to eat. Breakfast was included in the refectory and was excellent. Highly recommended.

The room was an attic room which had uneven floors and angled ceiling. The paint work was tired and had a few stains on it. There was no blind in the bathroom and the curtains were fraying. Apparently they were renovating the attics rooms so mine had not yet been done. However it did not put me off and I would recommend it and stay there again.

A lovely place to stay for our holiday. The convenience of being in the Cathedral Close could not be beat. Absolutely lovely and quiet setting. Breakfast was fresh both mornings and very good. Beautiful views of the Cathedral from our room.

Very clean but basic room. Breakfast absolutely wonderful. Free parking. Very helpful staff. Lift out of order for my stay but will be sorted very soon. Easy short walk to city centre....shops/eateries. Book through Sarum college website for same price so they don't have to pay commission.

The unique things about this college is that it is in the square where Salisbury Cathedral is also Monpasson House, Arundell House and some Museums. If you like historical buildings this is an excellent place to stay. The rooms are quite basic, but are clean and comfortable. There is no Tv in the rooms. The property itself is historical and it is easy to walk into town for shops and food. We had breakfast at Sarum College and it was good.

Breakfast a little bit bland as only a choice of scrambled egg (No choice of fried or poached etc)

This is a Music College dorm that lets its rooms in the off season, so the rooms are compact with minimal furnishings as you would expect in a very old, small college dorm, but it was clean and quiet and the bed was fairly comfortable. The woman at check in was very nice, I enjoyed talking with her. The location is fantastic, it is within the close of the Salisbury Cathedral wall, right across the street from the Cathedral itself. It is within walking distance to just about anything you could want. A really pretty town.

Thanks for the review. So pleased you enjoyed your stay, the Close and the city of Salisbury. Just for the record - Sarum College is a centre for learning, conferences and private stays. The Royal School of Music is an independent organisation with administrative offices upstairs.

Excellent place to stay. Amazing breakfast. Clean and very convenient. Right beside the cathedral and a block from the shopping. Great pubs nearby. Only criticism is that There wasn’t a hairdryer.

Great location and a free breakfast
We stayed 2 nights at Sarum college and would stay there again. It is in a great location on the Cathedral Close. It is not a hotel but it is a well priced (for Salisbury) place to stay that is clean and comfortable and includes a decent breakfast. The gentleman that checked us in was friendly and helpful.

I had a lovely stay at Sarum College, it was easy to find and there was parking on site. Staff were friendly and I receive a nice welcome. I was given details of the door codes etc for the building. My room was clean, it was exceptionally warm in my room due to the 33 degree tempratures outside. Thankfully I was able to lead free the windows open to get some cooler air when I went out in the evening. Breakfast was fresh and hot, there was plenty of choice both hot and cold. I would come back again

Fabulous, good value, accommodation
Fabulous location within The Close. Friendly and helpful people. Accommodation is basic but clean and provided all we needed, comfortable bed, ensuite, tea and coffee facilities and wifi. Great breakfast - porridge, cereals, scrambled egg with all the Full English additions. Great value. Would definitely book again.
