"The hotel has been open for +10 years and is currently expanding. The design of the hotel is on three levels, with quiet, shady, cool corners as well as sunny rooftop dinning areas. The dining areas have great views of the Jaisalmer Fort, which is a located two hundred metres away. The craftsmanship of the lobby and rooms is excellent. "This hotel was incredible. The room was a comfortable size, beautifully decorated. The bed and pillows were so comfy. They decorated it in rose petals and balloons for my birthday as a driving surprise ( after my partner asked them) The outside of the building was so intricately decorated in carved sandstone. The pool was refreshing and a most welcome pleasure. Views of the huge fort looming above, while we are in the restaurant, were like something from a movie. The boys in the upstairs...

"Loved my stay at here—completely overdelivered for the price. New property, beautifully maintained. Fantastic location, a 5 minute walk from the fort entrance. Gorgeous rooftop area with the best views in town. Lovely, attentive staff. Helped me upgrade easily when a room became available. They don’t have a traditional restaurant, but the food they had was very good. Only quibble was that the pool wasn’t quite clean enough to swim in. Otherwise, great stay."

"The Marina Mahal is a great value option close to the centre of Jaisalmer. Akbar and Marina are a delightful Indian/New Zealand couple who are extremely hospitable and who do everything to make your stay memorable. They can arrange a brilliant trip into the desert. The vegetarian food in the rooftop restaurant is excellent and the views are stunning. Rooms are comfortable with AC, reliable hot water and free WiFi and the whole place exudes local atmosphere. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel is amazing, housed in a centuries old palace and an easy walk to the main fort. Our luxury suite facing part of the museum was just beautiful. The service was excellent, the room clean, the restaurant has an extraordinary view at night. Our only concern was the lovely pool was infested by pigeons and covered in scum. After a very hot day exploring Jaisalmer that was disappointing. But it will be a lovely memory. "
