"We had a lovely stay at Tenute Al Bane but the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, we knew this but just letting others know. The staff were nice but they couldn't speak English. It is a very Italian staff and as an international traveller I have never been to a hotel where the reception couldn't communicate with me. I have been to many Asian countries and all over Europe and this place ranks last. They need to hire English speaking staff if they want other than Italian tourists. The pool area is...

"Stunning grounds, fantastic castle and winery tour and wonderful warm and friendly people that are passionate about making your stay perfect. The simera wine tasting with lunch was ridiculously great value. Topped off by a really impressive sunset over the vines, it was like they arranged everything. We went very early in the season so we practically had the Scuderie to ourselves, and there wasn’t a wedding in the castle so it was totally peaceful. Beautiful place that makes beautiful wine!"

"Den sødeste receptionist. Fantastisk at bo i den gamle bydel. Ikke luksuriøst, men fuld af charme. Vi havde to små standardværelser, et af dem uden vindue. Det andet med fantastisk beliggenhed ud til terrassen. - Vi blev tilbudt opgradering, men valgte at beholde standardrummene, da balkonværelserne mod gaden var meget mørke. - Terrasserne på taget helt formidable. "No ato do check-in não te passam muitas informações. Você tem que perguntar por tudo. O café da manhã é somente até as 9:30h. A cama do quarto era redonda e pequena, não cabe uma pessoa maior que 1,70m, tive que dormir atravessado na cama se quisesse caber dentro da mesma. O chuveiro do banheiro não tinha água quente, informei a recepção e nada foi resolvido."
