"The property has been nicely modernised with a high end kitchen and bathrooms and has a cute sun-trap garden. All three bedrooms are good size although the first floor master has low sloping ceilings which provided a nasty bump on the head on several occasions for two of us! A big plus was that there was always lots of hot water for showers plus there is a washing machine and tumble drier too. The parking space was welcome as parking in the road was far less easy than was implied when I enquired...

"This property is ideal for a large family group. We had teens at 16 years to their grandparents at 80 and the house worked well for all of us. The property is clean and well presented but still practical so you can relax in it. It was very well set up in terms of equipment and facilities. The hot tub and sauna were a surprising godsend to our break, giving us plenty of things to do around the house when the weather wasn’t fantastic. "Shalimar was perfect, just 10 minutes from the centre of beautiful Salcombe, however, I would not recommend for anyone with disabilities due to the steep hills! The house was clean and comfortable with an abundance of facilities, we would definitely stay again and fully recommend."

"On a positive note, I have used vrbo all around the world and it is a great service. More due diligence is required on a non-maintained property like this one at Beacon Court. Too numerous to tell you all the issues but a few are the following: -Could not use garden due to wall collapsed--this has been like this for a while/as per the next door neighbours - Frie place was broke -this was documented in arrival pack hence also been broke for a long time - No audio entertainment - /broken system...

"We enjoyed staying at 5 Shadycombe cottage. Owner sent lots of useful information by email shortly before stay. The cottage was compact, clean and well equipped. The bathrooms were a little compact. The cottage location and proximity to Salcombe allowed us to walk into town. We found fabulous art store, along with a great bakery for breakfast goods and pasties, in addition fudge, chocolate and ice cream stores all very yummy. Be advised Salcombe itself is not car or wheelchair friendly. We were...

"The property was in a lovely quiet position but did feel the shop should have been open whilst people were on site because of its location. When we arrived the sofa still had some sand on, there are cobwebs in bedroom windows and some kitchen utensils were not too clean. We really enjoyed our stay and felt totally relaxed whilst there.
