Aloberge 7

Aloberge 7 unit is located in the canal of the Rose des Vents Marina in Lacolle, sheltered from the wind. It is a "ready-to-camp with electricity (30 amps)" unit with water available on the docks, and dogs are welcome.

The floating platform measures 12 x 26 feet and is permanently attached to the dock.

The cabin is 10' x 12' in size and includes:

-Two single benches with slatted bases, one of which can be extended into a double bed (sleeps 3, but the accommodation is ideal for 2)

-The following kitchen equipment: compact fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle, filter coffee maker and Keurig coffee maker with reusable K-Cup, blender,

-Small barbecue (FREE OF CHARGE IF WELL CLEANED BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE)

-Basic tableware for 3 people (including a cast iron frying pan and/or wok for the barbecue) FREE OF CHARGE IF IT IS THOROUGHLY CLEANED BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE

-Necessary for washing dishes

-Dog bowl

-Side table (long foldable bench)

-Small heater/fan

-Small air conditioning unit located upstairs (barely adequate during the day in a heatwave). The accommodation is not suitable for people sensitive to heat during a heatwave.

-Mattress cover, pillows and pillowcases (other bedding not included).

-Hair dryer and small first aid kit (in one of the drawers of the sofa beds)

-Storage spaces (bench drawers, small shelves)

-Windows on all 4 sides (UV-resistant polymer film)

The large front deck, measuring 12' x 10', includes : - 2 zero-gravity lounge chairs - A table with extension and 2 chairs - An electric mosquito repellent device

The rear balcony includes : - Bench with storage compartment, 2 adult life jackets (MANDATORY IN PADDLE BOATS) and some leisure items (bowling and/or pocket games, ball, pool items)

On the The following infrastructure is included/free of charge on the site:

-Picnic area on the banks of the Richelieu River, with picnic tables and gas barbecues including built-in cooking burners and utensils, at least one of which is under a gazebo in case of rain. Propane gas included. Use is free of charge provided they are cleaned after use.

-Saltwater swimming pool with a view of the Richelieu river ( unheated )

-Outdoor fireplace (wood for sale on site)



- Toilets, bathrooms with showers, sinks, hot water available a one or two minute walk away, at the harbor master's office on site (running water also available on the docks)

-Common room with a view, tables and free Wi-Fi

-Free parking (ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR ELECTRIC CAR PLUG-IN)

- Self-service access to bicycles (helmets not provided) and to all of Aloberge's paddle boats available in the summer On-site during good weather (at least until September 21, the opening date of duck hunting on the river), the following equipment is available: two tandem pedal kayaks, one standard double kayak, one single kayak, two paddleboards, and two canoes. Life jackets are mandatory. Use of the equipment is free of charge, provided it is returned in the same condition, clean, in the same place, and in the same position, and that the locks are re-locked. Specifically, the pedals of the tandem kayaks must be lifted when in weedy areas and upon return, and canoes and standard kayaks must be returned upside down to their designated spots to prevent water accumulation when it rains.

TO BRING :

- Your bedding (single or double sheet set(s) with pillowcases, blankets, duvet, towels) NB: As the accommodation is not fully insulated/soundproofed, and the heating is supplementary (small heater), it is strongly advised to bring very warm blankets, especially at the end of the season.

- Your drinking water (tap water on the docks or at the harbour master's office is not tested). --

-Mosquito repellent lotion

-Life jacket for a 3rd person or for a child under 12 years old, mandatory for children on the docks, in the swimming pool and in small boats

-Your own helmets for self-service access to our on-site bicycles to explore the peasant trail, located a few kilometers from the marina

-Your fishing equipment from our paddle boats. (NO FISHING ALLOWED IN THE MARINA) (Fishing shop and outfitter for rowboat rentals within walking distance).

-Your equipment for observing/photographing the abundant wildlife

Please take note of the other regulations before booking , including NO SMOKING WITHIN 9 METERS OF BUILDINGS AND UNITS, NO LOUD MUSIC AT ANY TIME AND NO NOISE TOLERATED AFTER 10 PM, NO REFUNDS OUTSIDE OF THE CANCELLATION POLICY.
