"This was our first time staying on the French side, at Esmeralda. Overall, it is a decent resort; it consists of small villages, each containing four guest rooms. The rooms themselves are spacious and clean, and every village shares a swimming pool among its four units. The resort grounds feature a French restaurant serving very delicious food. "The apartment was luxurious and spacious, very well equipped. The fridge in the kitchen even has an icemaker. The water has improved vastly in St. Martin in recent years, and we had no issues drinking the tab water or using ice cubes from the ice maker at this hotel. The large balcony is where we spent most of our time in the apartment. There is a magnificient look over the sea. The pool is clean, large and has a dive board and a slide. Like everything else, the pool area is very well...
