"One of the loveliest stays we have experienced in a unique place. The peniche is exquisite and cosy. Some people might not like sharing the common spaces with other guests. However, we had the place to ourselves 2 nights in a row and met lovely people at the breakfast table. A place like no others. There could be more comfortable chairs in the living room if the weather was inclement."

"The hotel is divided up into a new and old hotel. The old hotel has an excellent restaurant in a lovely building with a view to the river with boats and a castle. The food is outstanding. The new part is ordinary, but still good. They have a spa in the garden which our kids loved. The area is good for walking tours. It is a bit isolated, but you can drive your car to Nantes stadium 5 km from the hotel and take the tram, 25 min, to the city centre. Parking is free."
