The GR39 trail, which starts at the mill and runs along the lake, will take you through the oak forest and the protected heathland to the megalithic sites.

The property’s magnificent garden is bordered by two rivers. Their waterfalls and centuries-old trees provide a refuge for Mrs. Otter and Mr. Heron in an exceptional setting. To enjoy the sunset over the valley and its forest, you can dine on the embankment, overlooking the pond, with your feet in the grass. If you prefer more intimate spots, the banks of the waterfall at the foot of the century-old yew tree or the natural bench on the schist cliff, with your feet in the water, are perfect for you.

There are numerous activities right nearby, including marked hiking trails, five green-level mountain bike trails, three rock-climbing sites, canoeing (canoes provided), fishing, and horseback riding.

The authentic 19th-century mill, whose superb cast-iron mechanisms have been preserved, offers 15 guest rooms spread over 360 m². It features a very large living room, a spacious game room with a pool table, a kitchen, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and four separate restrooms.

Located in the heart of Upper Brittany, you’ll be just half an hour from Rochefort-en-Terre—France’s favorite village—the legendary Forest of Brocéliande, and the magnificent historic port of La Roche-Bernard. The tourist towns of Redon, La Gacilly, and Lohéac—home to its exceptional automobile museum—are just a quarter of an hour away.
