Douglas Lake Cottage Retreat

Welcome to our lake front cottage! We are close to all amenities, within city limits which makes it very convenient for sporting events, family trips or just some time away. You can swim or kayak/canoe in the summer, skate or snowshoe in the winter. The perfect location for any weekend! The house/ cottage is 30+ years old and we have just completed a large renovation to the main floor, still lots to do but we are very happy with our cozy space and we hope that you will enjoy it as well.

The space
When entering the home you will walk into an open kitchen and family room with a sliding door leading out to a composite deck overlooking Douglas Lake. The main floor also has two bedrooms both with a queen bed and a full washroom. The walkout basement has double French doors facing the lake, a family room with pull out queen, washroom and laundry room and a third bedroom with both a queen and a double bed.

Guest access
During your stay you are welcome to use anything that we have left (games, kayaks (4), spices... the list goes on). We do spend some weekends there from time to time and will leave personal belongings and we ask that you please respect our belongings but you are welcome to use things.
