"Chateau is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot. I would describe it as 'shabby chic' as there are areas where money could be spent. However it is lovely and features such as the sweeping staircase, chandelier's and furniture look gorgeous. Town is only 4 miles away with a range of restaurants. Continental breakfast was great and plentiful. Only met 1 member of staff at breakfast but she was lovely and gave us some of the history of the chateau. Another English couple were staying in Kings Room...

"We had a wonderful stay at La Brauderie, the caravan/ Shepherds Hut was superb with an idyllic location and Julie was a superb host. Breakfast was excellent and very French!
We only stayed one night and wished it was longer and we hope to return. "

"Fabulous chateau, lovely host, the character and location of this property is just perfect. We had an evening meal to die for, every course personally prepared and served in beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was served in same lovely surroundings as was the evening dinner.

It was very comfortable, very clean and cosy. The person (I believe he was the owner) was very kind and friendly. We had a amazing comfortable evening and continued our journey next morning but we would definitely stayed for more. It's unique place. Very quiet and tranquil. Definitely recommend here"
