"Having read some scary reviews, we were a little worried - but it was not at all Fawlty Towers. The building itself is magnificent - it's definitely the tallest room I've ever slept in. The roses in the walkway - such a scent. The gardens have a well-tended, shabby-chic feel where you can see the grandeur of the original planting being colonised by nature. Nevertheless, we had a bad experience with checking in. We arrived late and there was nobody there. We had to figures out that we were supposed to call a number. When we did that, the person that answered could only speak French (luckily my wife knows a bit of french)

"This is a stunning hotel in the center of town run by a lovely, kind and welcoming family. A true taste of France! The hotel was super clean and grounds absolutely gorgeous. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. "
"The owner was at the desk and recommended a nice brasserie to eat: the hotel was comfortable, in an old stone building with a lot of character. The room was comfortable the bedding perfect and we had a little sitting corner. We did not try the restaurant because it was closed but you will find plenty of places to have a good meal at a reasonable price. Will return in a heart beat."
