We had no housecleaning, so our bed wasn’t remade and towels were never refreshed. Cars parked near our room had windshield smashed. And my room key had to be replaced 2 times because it wasn’t working

From the beginning my experience was horrible from the moment the older later at the front desk started service with my I knew I chose the wrong place to stay. She argued with me that I did not have a reservation and I advised her I did and showed her my information she still stated I was not in the system my Expedia account is old so I advised her it could have been under my maiden name and she still said no then stated I would need proof of the name change. She finally found my reservation that was on my id and said Expedia just updated it however neither of us called Expedia. While checking in the co worker was on the line calling either the police or security regarding a house keepers boyfriend coming to her job to harass her I had asked if I could get a refund and go somewhere else the lady stated she could not. I was placed in 116 the beds were held up by wood pieces and everytime you laid down there was a horrible crashing noise. The back door was unsecured anyone could come in and look in your room traveling with 2 young children I was so uncomfortable I stayed up all night due to people running around and playing loud music above me. There was rodent poop on the bathroom and Robert bait stations all along the property. It was disgusting. To top it off the tv also did not work. I would not recommend anyone stays at this property.

My stay at that hotel was not okay.I had my 3-year-old grandson with me.And at first they put me in Room 143 and then change me to 127.And neither time were the TV's working and then when my grandson woke up.I noticed that there was some blood on the top of his bed and it wasn't from him because I had him on his own blanket

Was a thunder valley I live at Elk Grove I found this motel and it was cheap so i didn’t read what time the check in was so I got there and dude in front desk told my my check was 3pm and I said oh’s it there any room available he said no . I lost $86 . So never go back again!

When I arrived, I noticed that the parking lot was empty. I saw a sign that said "no visitors." When I checked in and went to my room, a guest two doors down came out and, at the risk of sounding like a sanctimonious ass, he looked (almost obviously) like a dope fiend. I noticed a car downstairs that appeared to be doubling as someone's "house." I saw two other guests who appeared in the same condition. I chose to leave almost immediately; I did not spend the night.

The building was made of brick … which was helpful in the fact that the room was more sound froof than most common motels…. The outside looks unsavory … but the inside was decent and clean … tv didn’t have a good picture … needs to upgrade to 4k … overall decent affordable stay… compared to others on a weekend

The property needs work & updating. The rooms are very basic but it's a fine place if you just need a spot to crash! Our bed was actually pretty comfortable but very noisy if you have company.

This was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. Crackheads all around the building, sketchy neighborhood, found spiders in the bed, room wrecked of cigarettes. Worst experience ever. Left the hotel, I couldn’t be there for more than 20 minutes. Disgusting!! Don’t stay here

Shady staff, dirty rooms, moldy bathrooms, uncomfortable beds. ancient television, smoky "non-smoking" rooms. off-road style parking lot. Not good even for "just a place to sleep". Pay the extra $40 a night and stay somewhere else.

While we do not have any smoking rooms, per California law that went into effect on January 1st,2024. While we do not have a parking garage or valet services, which we have that to help keep our rates low. And we do have Security that keeps an eye out and patrols the lot, which is something I can say that most parking garages don't have: Security.Housekeeping, does inspect the rooms, when guest do check out. If rooms, aren't to your satisfaction, then we do recommend that you come by the front desk, and see about getting a room that better suits your for your stay.Thanks

Not a pleasant experience. All adults have to bring ID. Indicates a lot of shady people normally stay here. Lobby looks like it's only half built. Room had dust and grit on the hard floors. Bathroom was moldy and water controls were almost useless in the shower. Bed was not comfortable and bed frame moves very easily. Not worth the money for even just a place to sleep. Pay the extra $40 for a better spot.

We ask for the IDs of the guests who will be here that are over the age of 18 to present a form of ID, for the safety of our Hotel Guests such as yourself. We want to make sure that guests such as yourself, are safe.If I am understanding correctly, the bed wasn't very comfortable, the shower knobs, weren't the most friendly? I'm sorry to hear that you believe there was mold in the bathroom. Did you happen to let the Front Desk know? Because they would have been more than happy to have moved you to a different room. And our Housekeeping Staff, does thorough job at making sure each room that they clean is clean and prepared for the next guest visit.

I used Expedia and the app double booked me and all parties refused to refund the system glitch and took my money. Even tho the hotel is pet friendly it smells like animal pee in the room and out side. Do not stay here.

The place was unsafe and people were doing drugs around the area. We didn’t feel safe at all we had to go sleep at a relative’s house. The customer service was ABSOLUTELY Terrible! We got this room with breakfast included when we asked about it the receptionist stated that the kitchen was being remodeled and are unable to give us breakfast. We went 20 minutes early and asked if the room is ready she said yes it is but since you are here 20 minutes earlier it’s going to $30 to check in. We told her we have been driving for 8 hours is there any way you can make an acceptation she said I can charge you $27 so my husband told her you know what we are very tired so we’ll pay but you guys don’t have that on the website when we reserved for any extra check in fees. When we informed about feeling unsafe she said well this is the area.

I did not check in the area , property and observed guests left my safety in question. I tried to cancel my stay at 3 while waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes by the time it was my turn I was told I needed to cancel by 3. OMG they take a copy of your drivers license for goodness sake! What type of establishment does that ? I am awaiting a credit

First off, the place is old and run down. I asked for a non-smoking room but the room they gave me smelled of cigarettes. By the time they offered to change rooms I was late for a function and needed to get ready so I was stuck. There was a bike in the stairwell blocking access for my entire stay. Not sure if it was staff or stolen. The breakfast was a paper bag with a small box of cereal, milk and a packaged muffin. On the upside they did waive my early check in fee. Probably wouldn't stay there again.

I have reached the State of California! Attractive white washed spanish colonial style arched walk ways. I can hear the warm breeze rustling the palm trees the moment I stepped out into the parking lot🌴 Private entrances to each room (no hallways full of smoke). Clean, simple and spacious room (without musty carpet). Professionalism that other hotels in the area could take notes on. Michelle could start a trend. Above and beyond staff made up for the lack of amenities. It was worthwhile to try this place. For non-smokers, i recommend rooms towards the front of the property. After leaving the StaybridgeSuites of Rocklin over discovering a housekeeper stealing and regrettable encounter with Roy and especially thier manager a Dean- I should have just called police from the get go. Bad choices are usually a habit. From theft, to attacking my toddler. On the edge of hysteria; traumatized by the experience IHG StaybridgeSuites of Rocklin... Comparably, Heritage Inn was remarkably peaceful🌴 Not one, out of the ordinary event. Or dangerous encounters. Just the right place to take a moment and breathe. To enjoy our vacation. Safely. With my little one.
