Casa das Flores, large villa with pool in the Douro Valley

Located on the right bank of the Douro, the Casa das Flores is a quiet and spacious holiday home, ideal for families.

You can relax in the garden, by the pool, or on the terrace overlooking the Douro landscape and the historic center of Sabrosa.
You can also practice various activities around Sabrosa, take the panoramic road to Pinhão and finish with a wine tasting in one of the nearby cellars.
Porto airport is 80 minutes away by car.

Sabrosa is the ideal starting point to discover the Douro Valley, Porto, Guimarães, Braga etc.
Many hikes are accessible, especially in the Natural Park of Alvão.

The house consists of:
• 2 suites, including one with a King Size bed
• 2 bedrooms with individual beds, convertible into a King Size bed, served by a bathroom with shower
• 1 apartment on the second floor with a large double bedroom, a room with 2 single beds, a living room and a bathroom with shower
• A living room with fireplace and flat-screen TV
• A fully equipped kitchen
• A dining room with table for 12 people
• A laundry room with washing machine, clothes rack, and iron and ironing board

Outside you will find:
• A courtyard where it is possible to park two cars,
• A barbecue, an outdoor kitchen and a table with granite benches for 12 people
• An upper area with swimming pool and garden (the area has a toilet and an outdoor shower). Access to this area is via stairs whose door locks for more security. The pool is open from early May to late September.
• A flower garden with a view of the Douro landscape

Cots for babies are also available (sheets provided).
Free WiFi is included.

Besides the private parking, you will also find a free public parking next to the house.

The kitchen, fully equipped, allows to prepare meals. A summer kitchen in the patio is available with its barbecue and pizza oven.
You can also enjoy the regional cuisine served in the restaurants of Sabrosa and surrounding villages.

Note, as it is a rural and mountainous area, and although there is a bus, train and taxi service, it is strongly recommended to have a car to fully enjoy the charms of the region.
